Who Are the Mothers of Mike Tyson’s 7 Children?
Mike Tyson‘s name has made headlines recently after he revealed that Sean “Diddy” Combs asked the boxing legend to give President Donald Trump a letter, which Tyson says he did as he is friendly with both men.
The former heavyweight champ has made news for plenty of other reasons over the years and is one of the most recognizable people on the planet. In addition to being widely regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time, he’s also an actor, a voice artist, a podcast host, and a businessman.
But to his family, he’s just a husband and father. Tyson has fathered seven children with four different women. Here’s more about them.
Michael ‘Miki’ Lorna with Kimberly Scarborough
Kimberly Scarborough is the mother of Tyson’s eldest child, Michael “Miki” Lorna, who they welcomed on July 31, 1990. The Hangover actor has posted photos of his oldest daughter in the past, and she has accompanied him to a few red carpet events over the years.
Miki’s birth came after Tyson’s marriage to actress Robin Givens ended in 1989. Scarborough is a former model who had a brief relationship with Tyson. She commented in interviews how much their daughter looked like her father. Tyson officially acknowledged paternity in a New York Family Court in March 1991 following DNA testing, and Scarborough agreed on a private child support and financial arrangement.
“My life has been extremely blessed because of my father, and I just want to acknowledge him as the great dad he has always been,” Miki told Queen Size magazine.
Ramsey and Amir with Monica Turner
Monica Turner is Tyson’s second wife and the mother of two of his children: Amir and Rayna (now known as Ramsey). The couple welcomed Ramsey in 1996 and Amir in 1997. Turner and Tyson wed the same year Amir was born and divorced in 2003.
Ramsey, has pursued interests in film and the entertainment industry, while Amir has developed a career that combines entrepreneurship and sports media. He founded the clothing brand Debonair Attire and has worked as a sports commentator.
As for their mother, Turner and Tyson met at Eddie Murphy’s New Jersey home when she was a medical student. Turner was completing her medical training when she and Tyson married and went to have a professional career in medicine. She keeps a low profile these days and is not active on public social media platforms.
Miguel and Exodus with Sol Xochitl
Sol Xochitl is the mother of Tyson’s children, Miguel and Exodus. Xochitl was in a relationship with Tyson during the early to mid 2000s.
Xochitl was born in 1975 in Mexico. She and Tyson met at a club in Phoenix, Arizona, where she worked as an exotic dancer. The two welcomed a son, Miguel, in 2002 and a daughter, Exodus, in 2005. Exodus died following a terrible accident when she was just 4 years old.
The little girl was playing in the house while her mother was cleaning when her neck got caught in a cord that was attached to a treadmill. Xochitl found her daughter “in distress” and freed Exodus from the cord. She called 911 for help, and then gave her CPR, but it was too late. Exodus died at the hospital from her injuries.
Tyson, who was away in Las Vegas when the accident occurred, returned home to be with his family.
In later interviews, the boxer discussed the emotional devastation surrounding his daughter’s death and the difficulty of coping with such a loss.
Milan and Morocco with Lakiha Spicer
Lakiha “Kiki” Spicer is Tyson’s third wife and the mother of his two youngest children.
Spicer was born in Philadelphia in 1977. She and Iron Mike initially met at a boxing match she attended with her father. The pair tied the knot in 2009.
According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Spicer spent six months in a federal penitentiary while she was pregnant after being convicted of fraud and conspiracy over receiving more than $70,000 for classes that were never taught at a school where her mother, Faridah Ali, worked as the Assistant Director of Education.
Their daughter, Milan, was born on Dec. 25, 2008. Three years later, they welcomed their son Morocco.
