Kim Kardashian’s Star-Studded Birthday Party Draws Rare Appearance From One Family Member Who Quit the Spotlight
Kim Kardashian celebrated her 46th birthday with a star-studded bash in Beverly Hills. The beauty mogul welcomed family members and friends to the celebration. Although several celebrities attended the party, one guest drew particular attention: Kardashian’s younger brother, Rob Kardashian, who rarely appears at public family events.
From Kris Jenner to Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, many assembled to make the SKIMS founder’s day special. Kardashian remained the center of attention at the party as she arrived wearing a vintage disco ensemble. While she first wore a green ensemble, she later changed into a maroon version.
Many also caught a glimpse of Rob making his way back to the limelight at the party. According to People, a source revealed that Rob may no longer be a regular member of his family’s reality TV show. However, he is still very much involved in his family.
The insider said, “Just because he’s not part of their public lives doesn’t mean that he’s not part of their private lives. He’s there for the celebrations, family gatherings and all the important moments. He’s a great dad and a wonderful uncle.” What is Rob doing away from the limelight? Focusing on his health. “He’s been focused on his health and looks great,” the source said. They added that his sisters are very protective of him.
Moreover, his family understands why he no longer shares his personal life with people. “They respect that he wants a quieter life, and there is no pressure for him to do what they do. They’re happy that he’s happier,” the source added.
Previously, Rob’s ex-girlfriend, Blac Chyna, praised him for his co-parenting skills. The two share their daughter, Dream Kardashian. Chyna revealed that “communication is key” when it comes to raising children while living separately.
In a rare moment, Rob himself addressed his decision to step away from the limelight during an episode of Khloe Kardashian’s Khloé in Wonder Land podcast. According to Page Six, he revealed that his decision had everything to do with himself. The 39-year-old explained that he did not want to film and bring his life to the forefront when he is not comfortable.
“I’m not comfortable in my skin, so why would I want to go be on camera and just be vulnerable and let people in when that’s not what I want to do?” Rob shared. He revealed that he was not comfortable filming his life. He also asserted that not everyone can follow such a lifestyle that his sisters and mother follow, which includes filming their entire lives.
“I choose my own happiness and peace over filming for somebody that doesn’t do anything for me and my personal life,” Rob revealed. However, Rob confirmed that he is not against filming with his family. He assured us that he was open to making cameos on his family’s show. He said, “I like being around my family, so that stuff is good to me. I have nothing against [filming].”
The 39-year-old called himself a “homebody,” saying that he chooses his peace and happiness over filming the show. He repeatedly clarified that he did not have any feud with his family members. He was last seen regularly filming the show in 2017.
