Pregnant Savannah Chrisley Confirms Private Cayman Islands Wedding With Husband Jason Galanis
Savannah Chrisley has confirmed that Jason Galanis isn’t just her fiancé; he’s her husband after a secret wedding. The 29-year-old Chrisley Knows Best alum revealed that she secretly married the 56-year-old businessman she introduced to fans on Instagram last week. And the marriage isn’t all that new: the pair tied the knot in the Cayman Islands back in July.
Savannah Chrisley and Jason Galanis’ Secret Island Wedding
According to marriage records obtained by People, the couple married on Tuesday, July 14, at Cayman Islands Baptist Church, just two days before Galanis’ 56th birthday. The wedding took place more than three months before Chrisley publicly revealed she was engaged.
On the Oct. 27 episode of her podcast, Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, the reality star shared that Galanis had proposed in December 2025, about five months after they started dating, during a trip to the Cayman Islands. She said she had no idea he had a ring in his backpack.
In the same episode, and in an emotional Instagram post, Chrisley announced that the couple is expecting their first child. She referred to Galanis only as “J” and didn’t show his face, but his identity was confirmed later that same day.
At the time, Chrisley said the couple’s wedding was still in the works. But eagle-eyed fans noticed what looked like a wedding band tucked beneath her engagement ring in photos shared by the jeweler and photographer, fueling speculation that the pair had already wed.
A Bigger Celebration is Planned
Although Chrisley and Galanis are already husband and wife, they still plan to celebrate in a big way. Chrisley appeared on the debut episode of Golden Tate’s YouTube show, The Golden Ticket, on Sunday and opened up about the romance. She confirmed they had already married and said a larger wedding is planned for next year, though her pregnancy has changed the original plan.
The couple had scheduled the celebration for January, but that’s no longer on the table. Instead, they’ll celebrate with family and friends in May. Chrisley hasn’t shared her due date, but the timing suggests the baby could arrive around January, which would explain why the wedding was pushed back.
Who is Jason Galanis?
Galanis is a businessman whom Chrisley met through political circles while she was lobbying for her parents’ presidential pardons. His past has drawn attention since his identity was confirmed. According to the Department of Justice, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced in 2020 to 189 months in prison for his role in multiple fraudulent securities schemes. President Donald Trump granted him clemency in March 2025.
Chrisley and Galanis connected after his early release. That May, Todd and Julie Chrisley were granted presidential pardons. A great deal of publicity followed, but Savannah kept her budding relationship private.
Galanis’ criminal record isn’t the only thing that has given fans pause; the couple’s age gap has raised eyebrows, too. Chrisley, who is 27 years younger than Galanis, has acknowledged that the gap is “huge,” but has described the relationship as everything she ever wanted.
