Psychic Shares Whether Madonna Was Deliberately Embarrassing Sabrina Carpenter at the VMAs

At this year’s VMAs, Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter won Best Collaboration for the song “Bring Your Love.” Madonna revealed that it took a long time to hear back from Carpenter’s team. Carpenter and Madonna won a VMA for their song “Bring Your Love.” Madonna revealed that her team didn’t immediately get back to her about the song. As a result, she took matters into her own hands.

“Everybody who knows me knows how impatient I am,” she said. “When five days passed, and I still didn’t get connected with Sabrina and didn’t hear back from her about whether she wanted to do a song with me — 5 days — I DM’ed her.”

Once Carpenter responded, they were in the studio before long.

“And this is a true story, she answered me back, and I don’t know, within weeks we were in the studio together. It was fabulous.”

The reveal drew mixed reactions from social media users. Many expressed their belief that Carpenter seemed uncomfortable. Despite this, Efimero, a psychic reading and body language expert at Voyance Tchat, said Carpenter was perfectly fine with Madonna’s speech.

Carpenter may have initially felt surprised by Madonna’s admission. Still, she was generally comfortable on stage with her.

“What stands out is not one isolated gesture, but the consistency of the interaction,” they said. “Sabrina doesn’t display obvious signs of wanting to distance herself from Madonna or disengage from the exchange; instead, she remains oriented toward her, continues to smile and eventually responds with a joke of her own.”

Efimero added that Carpenter seemed to understand that Madonna was making a joke.

“Although Madonna clearly puts Sabrina on the spot with the story about the five-day wait — and I can understand why some people have described the moment as embarrassing — but there is a difference between being publicly teased and actually appearing uncomfortable,” they said. “Based on the body language, Sabrina doesn’t look genuinely distressed or eager to disengage; she appears to understand the joke and is confident enough to volley it back.”

They performed together at Coachella

In April, Carpenter had Madonna as her special guest during her Coachella set. They performed “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer,” as well as music from Madonna’s album Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II. Madonna said she loved getting back on the stage at the festival.

“I was in the dance tent, and it was the first time I performed Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part I in America,” Madonna said, per Entertainment Weekly. “So you can imagine what a thrill to be back 22 years later in the same boots, in the same corset… the jacket I had on earlier, the same Gucci jacket? So it’s a full circle moment, you know? Very meaningful for me.”
