‘RHOBH’ Alum Annemarie Wiley Calls Out ‘Horrible’ Men Who ‘Make Excuses’ for Abusers After Her Ex Accuses Her of Casting ‘Voodoo’ Spells
Annemarie Wiley will not be silenced.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum took to Instagram on Monday to call out those who have publicly questioned her story of being abused by her husband, Marcellus Wiley.

Annemarie filed for divorce on July 6. In her petition, she accused her ex-NFL player spouse of subjecting her to a “continuing and escalating pattern of physical violence, sexual abuse, verbal, and emotional abuse, financial control, and intimidation” throughout their 12-year marriage, including multiple rapes.
“I’m seeing some very disgusting and disturbing things that sick men, like Emmanuel Acho, are saying about me and what has recently happened with my family,” Annemarie wrote.
Acho, a sports analyst, called Annemarie “dumb as hell” in a recent episode of his Speakeasy podcast.
“Horrible men who have no knowledge of what we go through as women, as mothers, as victims, to protect our children and navigate situations that seem impossible to leave,” the Bravo alum continued. “Let me tell you why women who are victims of domestic violence remain silent…”
“We stay and we normalize and we tolerate and we hide it until we are completely broken,” Annemarie said. “Please know that when we leave, it is always because we had no other choice left.”
“Men, and even their family members like this, that perpetuate, make excuses for, and enable abusive men are the very reason women are terrified, shamed, and intimidated into silence,” she added.
In the caption, Annemarie thanked those who had reached out following her divorce filing.
“I’m sorry if I haven’t replied. I’m kind of just in my little hole of survival mode. I am doing the best I can to navigate this,” she wrote.
Marcellus Wiley denies abuse, claims his wife ‘lost her mind’ after ‘RHOBH’ exit
Marcellus has denied Annemarie’s allegations. In a lengthy post on X on July 7, the podcaster said that he would produce “evidence” to prove her claims he was abusive are false.
“Over the years, I have compiled videos, photographs, text messages, emails, and other evidence that directly contradicts those baseless claims and provides a factual record of our family and the events leading to this unfortunate divorce,” her wrote.
Marcellus went on to accuse Annemarie of “repeated infidelity—including an affair with her pregnant friend’s husband,” as well as “serious and damaging parenting failures.” He also asserted that she cast a “voodoo spell” over his family.
Annemarie appeared on a single season of RHOBH. Marcellus claims that she spiraled after leaving the show following its 13th season.
“To be frank, many friends, family members, and fans have opined that after she was kicked off The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she lost her mind!” he said. “Unfortunately, I must agree.”
I am prepared to address these allegations and related matters through the legal process and with evidence,” he added.
