Teresa Giudice Addresses ‘RHONJ’ Hiatus and Her Willingness to Rejoin the Cast

The long-running Bravo series went on a two-year hiatus following season 14. An epic feud between sisters-in-law Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga divided the cast. Things were so tense, the network made an unprecedented decision to cancel the reunion and hit pause on future installments of the show.

After a breather, Bravo decided to bring back RHONJ, along with three of OG Housewives; Teresa, Melissa, and Dolores Catania. Several new Garden State ladies will round out the rest of the cast.

The new season was made possible after Teresa and Melissa’s private BravoCon 2025 reconciliation. In March 2026, Bravo confirmed that season 15 was in the works.

Teresa credited her daughter Gia Giudice for encouraging her to mend fences with her brother, Joe Gorga, and Melissa.

“She wanted me to let go of the past with her dad,” Teresa told E! News at BravoCon 2025, referring to her ex-husband Joe Giudice. “When I thought about my husband and letting the past go, I thought about my brother. I want my brother back in my life.”

‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ gets fresh faces for season 15

With a trimmed down group of familiar faces plus fresh blood, the new RHONJ is a very different show, insiders say.

“There was so much drama the last few years that producers want the OG cast to settle in with the new cast,” a source close to production recently told Us Weekly. “It has been far less toxic than previous seasons.”

However, the changes mean that several familiar faces won’t be back for season 15. Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda are all out as cast members. Bravo hasn’t yet revealed their replacements. But according to Reality Blurb, sisters Xiomara Laracuente and Juliette Collazo, Natia Rufolo, Vanessa Barrera, and Deeba Patel have all been tapped to join the cast.

“This is definitely the cast for next season,” an insider told the publication. But already, there is concern that the revamped show might fall flat. Aside from the sisters, the new cast members “have no connection” to each other, the source said. A similar lack of pre-existing relationships hurt the rebooted RHONY, which has failed to hit its stride after two seasons.

“It’s very much like when The Real Housewives of New York City did their rebrand,” the insider said. “No one has authentic connections.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming on Peacock.
