Sarper says ‘90 Day: The Last Resort’ was ‘emotionally exhausting’

Now, Sarper says he’s ready to move on.

[The Last Resort] was definitely one of the most difficult and emotionally exhausting experiences of my life,” he wrote on his Instagram on September 15. “I didn’t even watch a single episode because it brought back memories I wasn’t really ready to revisit: the arguments, the stress, and everything we were going through at the time.”

“The final episode has aired, and I’m honestly relieved that chapter is over,” he added.

But even though Sarper didn’t have a great experience on The Last Resort, he said he would “definitely” be tuning in to the tell-all, hinting that fans could expect some major fireworks.

Shekinah accuses Sarper of only going on ‘The Last Resort’ to promote his comedy career

Meanwhile, in a series of posts on her Instagram Story, Shekinah confirmed she didn’t participate in the tell-all. She also said she regretted doing The Last Resort.

“I wouldn’t have gone to begin with,” she said when someone asked if there was anything should would have done differently on the show.

Shekinah also said that she and Sarper are still married. However, she said accused him of being unfaithful and said there was little change of them reconciling.

“Once you sleep with someone else there is no going back from that,” she wrote. “And he knew that but is making those choice knowing he can never recover from them.”

Shekinah also shared a video of Sarper saying that he loved her during The Last Resort recommitment ceremony.

“When the ego fades I hope you realize how you handled this. It wasn’t strength, it was cowardly, destructive, humiliating, deceptive, and above all a deep betrayal,” she captioned the post. “I learned last night that you only recommitted that day because you felt pity for me, and you did this speech while simultaneously planning to leave me later.”

Shekinah accused Sarper of signing on for The Last Resort as “promo for [his] comedy career” not because he wanted to save their marriage.

“The deepest wounds don’t come from enemies,” she wrote. “They come from the ones who promised to protect your heart.”

The 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 3 tell-all begins Monday, September 21, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
