Scheana Shay and Brock Davies Frontrunners to Replace Nia Sanchez and Danny Booko on ‘The Valley’
The Valley is getting a cast shakeup.
On Wednesday, OG cast members Nia Sanchez and Danny Booko revealed that they wouldn’t return for season 4 of the Bravo reality series. That immediately led to speculation about who might replace the pair. One couple quickly emerged as a top contender: Vanderpump Rules alum Scheana Shay and her husband, Brock Davies.
Why did the Nia and Danny leave ‘The Valley’?
Nia and Danny announced their exit from The Valley in a joint Instagram statement on September 1.
“We will not be returning to The Valley. We’re incredibly grateful for this experience but our priority is protecting our peace and our family,” they wrote. “We are fully committed to each other and our beautiful children.”
“We want to thank everyone for all the love and support you’ve shown us. Thank you to Bravo and the team for everything. We are looking forward to what the next chapter brings,” the statement continued.
The former Miss USA and her husband say their Bravo departure is all about prioritizing their family. But another factor could be at play. A source told Us Weekly that producers “felt their relationship and dynamic with the cast was not as organic as other couples.”
The pair also faced criticism from costars and fans, who worried that their marriage was troubled and dysfunctional. Danny has previously spoken about being on the receiving end of “hate” from viewers, while Nia revealed earlier this year that they were in counseling.
Could Scheana and Brock join ‘The Valley’ cast?
Nia and Danny’s exit leaves a hole in The Valley cast. Many people think Scheana and Brock are the natural replacement.
Several current Valley cast members are Vanderpump Rules alums, making the couple an obvious fit for the ensemble. Bravo apparently agrees. Last year, reports surfaced that Scheana would join the show. However, she later said she turned down the opportunity.
“I’m actually really glad I didn’t do it,” the My Good Side author said on a February 2026 episode of her Scheananigans podcast.
Scheana also addressed her broken friendship with fellow Pump Rules alum Lala Kent.
“Yeah, that is not going to be repaired, because the year of the snake has been shed,” she said. “And one thing I’m doing moving forward is not going back. I now really, genuinely understand boundaries and me setting that boundary specifically, I feel at peace.”
That feud with her onetime bestie could provide some readymade drama for The Valley Season 4, as Lala joined the show in season 3.
Meanwhile, Scheana cheered on Nia and Danny’s decision to step away from TV.
“PROTECT YOUR PEACE,” she commented on the Instagram announcement.
“Don’t join either! Lala and Janet [Caperna] will come after you now,” one person warned.
“It’s your time to shine,” another wrote. “Please destroy Janet and Lala. Thank you.”
