Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden has been the talk of the town. The preparations and the event took center stage during one of the biggest weekends of the year, and drew hundreds upon hundreds of celebrities. The wedding, and who showed and did not show, also gave rise to one relationship mystery. Jack Antonoff showed up to the event without his wife, Margaret Qualley. Her absence, and the developments since, now point to something more than just a scheduling conflict: Qualley and Antonoff have reportedly separated.

Jack Antonoff’s wife, Margaret Qualley, was a no-show at Traivs and Taylor’s wedding

There was never any doubt that Jack Antonoff would score an invite to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding. He has been Swift’s collaborator and friend for years. Fans assumed his wife, actress Margaret Qualley, would come along; Antonoff and his sister, fashion designer Rachel Antonoff, both showed up for the wedding as expected. Antonoff’s ex, Lena Dunham, RSVP’d to the supersized nuptials, too.

Margaret Qualley was nowhere to be seen, though — not at the wedding, and reportedly not at the July 2 rehearsal dinner either, which drew around 100 guests to the same venue. Once it became clear Qualley wasn’t traveling for a work commitment as initially assumed, rumors about the state of her marriage to Jack Antonoff began to emerge. Early reports attempted to quash the speculation, putting her absence down to a scheduling conflict. Reports suggested she was busy filming King Snake, but fans were quick to shoot down that assumption, and Qualley herself didn’t bother to hide where she actually was.

Social media users quickly pointed out that filming on King Snake had wrapped in June. DeuxMoi added fuel to the speculation when it reported that Qualley was spotted in Woodstock, New York, while the Swift/Kelce rehearsal dinner was happening. On the Fourth of July, she was seen in Kingston, less than two hours north of Madison Square Garden.

The Final clue to their Split

While Margaret Qualley’s no-show at Taylor and Travis’s wedding was suggestive enough on its own, more concrete evidence has since emerged — and it turns out the signs were there even before the wedding. Back in April, Qualley quietly changed her Instagram handle from “isimostar” to “sarahmargaretqualley23.” Then, this week, she went further, deleting photos from her 2023 wedding to Antonoff off her Instagram grid entirely, including a set she’d posted in March while promoting Bleachers’ single “Dirty Wedding Dress,” which references their marriage. As of this week, only a single photo of the two together remains on her page, though she briefly unarchived additional posts shortly after fans noticed the deletions.

This time, the speculation didn’t stay speculation for long. People has reported that the pair split. They cited an anonymous source who revealed that Qualley and Antonoff have separated after a rocky patch. The split comes just weeks shy of what would have been their third wedding anniversary.

While an insider claims they have split, neither Qualley nor Antonoff has commented on the situation publicly. Whether Taylor and Travis’s wedding had anything directly to do with the timing of the split, however, remains unknown. Qualley is, of course, not the only person who didn’t attend the nuptials. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were not on hand either. There is no mystery around why that happened, though. Blake and Taylor’s falling-out has been public fodder for months.
