Taylor Swift isn’t afraid to shop her closet.

On June 9, the Grammy-winner stepped out in Los Angeles for the world premiere of Toy Story 5. Swift sings the song “I Knew It, I Knew You” in the latest installment of the Disney-Pixar franchise.

Taylor Swift nods to ‘Toy Story’ with jewelry choice for premiere

As usual, Swift’s fashion was on point for the event. She donned a romantic, off-the-shoulder Erdem minidress with brown sandal heels and accessorized with a distinctive diamond horseshoe necklace.

It wasn’t the first time the “Bad Blood” singer had been seen wearing the sparkly piece of jewelry. She was first spotted wearing the antique piece in late April in New York City. It sold for $4,485, according to estate jewelry retailer Sophie Jane Jewels’ website.

The whimsical necklace was the perfect choice for the Toy Story 5 premiere, with the horseshoe motif nodding both to the movie’s Jessie the cowgirl character and her horse Bullseye, as well as Swift’s own roots as a country music artist. Notably, Swift wore the necklace before it was announced her latest song would be heard in the movie – proof that she still loves a good Easter egg.

The vintage necklace wasn’t the only stunning bauble Swift showed off on Monday. She also wore Selim Mouzannar Gemma Ring, an emerald-cut stone in blue enamel and gold. It’s valued at $4,410. And of course, she couldn’t leave home without her custom Kindred Lubeck engagement ring, which she received from fiancé Travis Kelce. She completed the look with a diamond Miraki oval tennis bracelet and art deco-inspired Le Vian yellow diamond earrings.

But the most memorable part of Swift’s red carpet look wasn’t her designer dress or carefully selected jewelry – it was the VHS copy of the original Toy Story that she carried under her arm. She later asked stars Tom Hanks, who voices Woody, and Tim Allen, who voices Buzz Lightyear, to sign the treasured item.

On Instagram, Swift shared a clip from an old home movie of herself as a little girl wearing a cowgirl outfit. In the caption, she reflected on how much Toy Story meant to her.

“Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once,” she shared. “And being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now… is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.”
