The ladies of New York City are back, and they’re ready to take on a whole new state.

Five original stars of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City return to TV in E!’s new series, The Golden Life, which premieres October 20. Kelly Bensimon, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, and Ramona Singer are bringing decades of friendship and feuds to sunny Palm Beach, Florida, as they embrace a fresh start in the Sunshine State.

But even though they are a little bit older (and hopefully, a little bit wiser) these RHONY stars haven’t mellowed in the least. As they dive into their golden years, viewers can expect new adventures and new conflicts. This quintet is bringing plenty of baggage with them as they head south, and their already complex relationships will be further influenced by their astrological placements, which influence their distinct personalities and shape the group’s dynamics.

The ‘RHOP’ Cast Zodiac Signs Make So Much Sense

Born May 1, Kelly Bensimon is a Taurus. This Fixed Earth sign is ruled by Venus and is characterized by a mix of stubborn groundedness and a love of the finer things in life. A Taurus like Kelly values both aesthetics and stability while remaining protective of her personal space. And true to her Bull nature, she can put a major fight if she feels threatened.

“Tauruses are fiercely loyal, they’re stubborn and they have a taste for the finer things in life … if someone crosses a loyal Taurus and threatens their loved ones, you had better believe a Taurus will stand up for the people they love,” celebrity astrologer Aliza Kelly told People when analyzing the Zodiac signs of Real Housewives stars.

Luann de Lesseps

Like Kelly, Countess Luann (born May 17) is also a Taurus. She embodies her sign’s affinity for luxury as well as its self-assurance and confidence. Luann – who has taken her cabaret show on a nationwide tour – has no trouble commanding a room.

Having two Taureans in The Golden Life cast could lead to face-off if they disagree. But Luann and Kelly have remained friends since their time on RHONY, so the chances of serious fireworks between them seem relatively low.

Dorinda Medley

With a December 13 birthday, Dorinda Medley is classic Sagittarius. She’s charismatic, direct, fiercely independent, and passionate. At the same time, she has the Archer’s tendency to unleash sharp, unfiltered commentary that can truly sting when it hits its mark. Her Fire sign energy also gives her a flair for the dramatic and also makes her a natural host, as can be seen in the way she’s repeatedly opened the doors of Blue Stone Manor to guests.

“Sagittarius likes to have the last word, which means they aren’t going anywhere without a fight or drama,” noted astrologer Lisa Stardust when analyzing how Dorinda’s sign might influence her stint on The Traitors.

Sonja Morgan

Another Sagittarius, Sonja Morgan was born November 25. She embodies the Archer’s free-spirited, adventurous, and occasionally chaotic side. Sagittarians like Sonja are known for both their optimism and the occasional lack of a internal filter. (“I went to burp and I threw up a little,” she says in the trailer, with characteristic Sonja frankness.)

With two Sags in the cast, viewers can expect a double dose of unpredictability and fun, especially given Sonja’s buoyant attitude and fiery spontaneity. She balances out the cast’s more rigid Earth signs, bringing a much-needed dose of levity to the dynamic.

Ramona Singer

The Golden Life’s sole Water sign, Ramona Singer was born November 17, making her a Scorpio. She has her sign’s emotional depth and sharp mind, as well as Scorpio’s tendency to hold grudges and speak with blunt honesty. Her nickname says it all: ‘Singer Stinger.’ Her unfiltered nature can drive conflict and create drama in the group (it’s also gotten her into big trouble – in 2023, she was disinvited from BravoCon after allegedly using a racial slur in a text with a reporter.)

“[Ramona is] passionate, she knows what she wants, and she’s going to get it by any means necessary,” noted The Rational Astrologer.

The Golden Life premieres Tuesday, October 20 at 10 PM ET/PT on E!
