Tom Sandoval Teases Return to Bravo After Danny Booko, Nia Sanchez Exit ‘The Valley’

Is The Valley ready for another Scandoval? 

Vanderpump Rules alum Tom Sandoval recently said that he’d be up for returning to Bravo as a cast member on The Valley.

“I mean, I think I would be open to it,” Sandoval, 44, told Us Weekly when asked about joining the Pump Rules spinoff  while at the Celebrity Travel Lounge presented with Travel By Peta on September 12. 

“I think I’d be open to it,” he emphasized. 

Currently, The Valley is down two cast members following Danny Booko and Nia Sanchez’s decision to exit the series after three seasons. 

Starting in 2013, Sandoval was a main cast member on 11 seasons of Vanderpump Rules. He left the show ahead of season 12 along with the rest of the cast when Bravo decided to refresh the series with an all-new group of SURvers. 

In 2024, The Valley premiered on Bravo. It follows several Pump Rules stars, as well as some new faces, as they embark on the next, supposedly more settled, phase of their lives. Sandoval is close with several current cast members, he said. 

“I would say [I’m close to] Zach [Wickham], Jesse [Lally], Jason [Caperna], Janet [Caperna], Luke [Broderick], [Tom] Schwartz — obviously — [and] Jasmine [Goode],” Sandoval told Us on Saturday. “I’m cool with all of them. You just don’t see me around a lot because, at this point, you know, I like my privacy.”

Brittany Cartwright said Sandoval joining Bravo show was ‘a stretch’ 

While Sandoval thinks he’d fit right in with the current cast of The Valley, some aren’t so sure. His former castmate Brittany Cartwright has said she rarely socializes with him. 

“I mean, no ill will towards Sandoval, but he doesn’t hang out with any of us,” she told Us Weekly in April. “Maybe Schwartz, but I don’t ever see Sandoval. None of us in the group really hang out with him or anything.”

Cartwright said she felt that adding Sandoval to the cast would be “a stretch.’ 

“I know him, and him and Tom are always brothers, and they’re always so close,” she explained. “Of course I want nothing but the best for Sandoval. We just got such a big cast. Like, goodness.”

Sandoval was at the center of some major drama at the end of his run on Vanderpump Rules. During season 10, his longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix learned that he’d been having an affair with fellow castmember Rachel Leviss. The resulting fallout was dubbed “Scandoval” and led to a fracturing of relationships among the cast. 

Since parting ways with Bravo, Sandoval has appeared on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, The Traitors, and House of Villains, as well as in several made-for-TV movies. Recently, his personal life has been back in the headlines following his breakup with model girlfriend Victoria Lee Robinson. Each has accused the other of abuse and has filed a restraining order against the other. On Sunday, he told TMZ that he is taking a break from dating for a while following the end of that relationship.
