Travis Kelce Said He Isn’t as Picky of an Eater After Meeting Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce admitted he was a picky eater. He said that meeting Taylor Swift has helped him expand his palate.

Travis Kelce is a more adventurous eater because of Taylor Swift

In the years since Travis met Swift, he said he’s started eating a greater variety of food.

“I feel like Taylor has expanded your [palate],” Jason said on an episode of the podcast New Heights.

Kylie Kelce, who was a guest on the podcast, added that her brother-in-law has been “more adventurous with food” since he started dating Swift. Travis agreed, joking that he wants to seem more masculine around her.

“Yeah, I’m trying to act like more of a man when I’m around her,” Travis said. “Eating foods I haven’t tried before. Yes!”

In a 2024 episode of the podcast, the brothers discussed Travis’ eating habits further. Travis said that while he was still a picky eater, he wanted to expand his culinary world.

“It’s not even judging [certain foods],” he explained. “It’s just, like, a mental block.”

Jason said he was happy to see this change in his brother.

“She’s introducing new foods to you,” he said. “It’s become one of the greatest things that I’ve been happy about.”

He revealed his dream menu

On a recent episode of New Heights, Travis and Jason discussed Rory McIlroy’s Champions Dinner menu ahead of The Masters. Travis shared what he would pick if he were hosting the prestigious dinner.

“I mean, honestly, I feel like I go universal. I wouldn’t make everybody f***ing pay. I would make everybody enjoy it [with] Mama Kelsey’s dinner rolls to start it off,” he said. “[Then] I’m going like a little smash burger, maybe some super salty fried chicken … You’re in the south, so I feel like there should be some version of, like, southern meal in there.”

He added that he’d want a mac and cheese similar to what Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. serves. For dessert, he’d consider their key lime pie.

“I’ve always liked the Dairy Queen ice cream cake too,” Travis said, adding, “I haven’t had one in a long time.”

On May 6, Travis and Jason spoke to McIlroy on New Heights. He discussed hosting the Champions Dinner.

“Travis, you’ll feel this this year whenever you’re sitting at your wedding, and you have all the people in a room … it’s amazing to have all these people in the same room from your childhood … and it’s surreal. It’s unbelievable,” he said. “The only thing that I can compare it to is your wedding day because it’s like all this collection of people in the same room. It’s like wild.”
