Zendaya and Tom Holland Were Warned Not to Date Each Other
Zendaya and Tom Holland married this year. The couple has been together for a while, and have starred in more than one film. They are a Hollywood success story so far, but the people around them once worried about a possible relationship between them. A producer told them that they should not date.

In the current Spider-Man films, Zendaya and Holland play love interests. They have joined a long series of stars who have fallen for one another on set.
“Tobey [Maguire] and Kirsten [Dunst] dated, and Andrew [Garfield] and Emma [Stone] — and MJ and Peter just always fall in love,” producer Amy Pascal told the BBC. “There’s nothing you can do about it.”
Pascal said she has warned all of the Marvel stars against dating one another.
“I say this to all of them, and no one ever listens to me,” she told Variety.
In a 2021 interview with The New York Times, Pascal said that she always faces problems when she warns her stars not to get involved.
“I took Tom and Zendaya aside, separately, when we first cast them and gave them a lecture. Don’t go there — just don’t. Try not to,” she said. “I gave the same advice to Andrew and Emma. It can just complicate things, you know? And they all ignored me.”
As Zendaya and Holland have recently tied the knot, it seems that things turned out well for them.
