Zendaya and Tom Holland Just Celebrated Their Wedding With a Private Party That Was the Complete Opposite of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Big Day
Zendaya and Tom Holland are keeping it low-key.
The famous couple quietly wed earlier this year. News of their nuptials only became public when her stylist, Law Roach, spilled the beans in a red carpet interview. Meanwhile, Holland subtly confirmed he and the Dune star had tied the knot in an interview with Esquire when he debunked AI-generated wedding photos.
While details of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day costars’ ceremony have remained under wraps, they reportedly celebrated their union over the weekend. The pair hosted a private party on August 4 at Beaverbrook Hotel in Surrey, U.K., People reports. The luxury country house hotel has 56 rooms and is located not far from where Holland grew up. They spent more than $670,000 to rent out the property, according to Page Six.
Friends and family were there to celebrate the couple’s marriage. Hotel staff reportedly had to sign NDAs.
Zendaya and Holland’s private celebration is a far cry from this summer’s other big celebrity wedding. On July 3, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce said “I do” at a massive Madison Square Garden ceremony attended by roughly 1,000 guests. Many of those A-list attendees admitted they barely knew the couple. To outsiders, the over-the-top affair seemed to be more about spectacle and a demonstration of the couple’s status rather than a meaningful celebration of their relationship.
Of course, whether one is better than the other is a matter of opinion. For a mega-star like Swift, turning one of the biggest moments of her life into a headline-generating, Manhattan-traffic-disrupting event is on brand. Zendaya and Holland, on the other hand, have kept their relationship as private as possible, so their more under-the-radar celebration fits with their personalities.
