Tom Holland has seemingly confirmed what many fans thought about secretly marrying Zendaya.

The Spider-Man actor addressed the viral AI-generated wedding photos of the couple in an interview with Esquire UK. Holland said that his grandmother saw those pics and was confused so she reached out to him to ask about them. The Odyssey star was then asked if he had to “send out messages to any other family members.”

After a long pause, Holland replied, “No, because they were all there.” He also gushed about Zendaya, saying, “For me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”

Now attention is turning back to the ring Zendaya has been sporting for months, which led to the speculation that they did tie the knot.

Brett Afshar, founder of award-winning jewelers Queensmith, broke down the details about the Euphoria actress’s wedding band.

He said, “Zendaya has been repeatedly spotted wearing what appears to be a classic 2.5mm 18k yellow gold wedding band, either stacked beneath her distinctive 5-carat, east-west elongated cushion engagement ring or worn on its own. It’s a timeless, understated choice that perfectly complements such a unique engagement ring without competing for attention.

“Yellow gold has a natural warmth to it, and symbolically, it often feels more intimate and enduring than something brighter or more overt. Against an engagement ring that already carries a strong design identity, a classic gold band can become the emotional anchor of the bridal stack. It’s a reminder that the most meaningful pieces are often the simplest.”

According to Afshar, Zendaya’s wedding band is worth less than 1% or what her engagement is valued at, noting, “While her engagement ring has been estimated to be worth around $200,000 if set with a natural diamond, the wedding band itself is a far more modest piece, likely valued at around $939 to $1,342, depending on its weight, width, and craftsmanship.

“Another detail that stands out is the way she’s wearing the rings together. Rather than stacking flush, there appears to be a small gap between the wedding band and engagement ring. Many couples are encouraged to have their rings sit perfectly together, but allowing a little space can feel more personal, as though the two rings are independent pieces that still belong together.”

The jewelry expert added, “This has the potential to influence bridal trends in much the same way her engagement ring did. When she debuted her east-west elongated cushion engagement ring, it sparked huge interest in alternative settings and antique-inspired diamonds, particularly elongated cushion and old mine-style cuts.

“This softer, less structured approach to ring stacking could encourage more brides to embrace space within their bridal sets rather than feeling they need everything to align perfectly. What’s interesting about this wedding band is that the influence is much more subtle. Rather than introducing a bold new design, it’s championing simplicity and individuality.”
