‘Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls’: Jasmine Morrison Reacts to Being Sent Home, ‘I Learned a Lot’
Lizzo is allowing fans to watch her search for dancers for Bonnaroo with a reality show. The dancers could go home at any time on Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, and Jasmine Morrison learned that the hard way. She shared her response to being sent home from the Amazon Prime show.

Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls follows the cast living and performing together. Jasmine Morrison stood out in practice by assisting choreographer Shirlene Quigley and asking her technical questions. Quigley asked her, “You wanna dance for Beyoncé one day, huh?” Morrison immediately screamed in excitement at this. “I don’t know, I see it for you,” Quigley said. “I don’t know, but I see it for you one day.”
Morrison later took charge of a practice the cast did at home. But some people weren’t on board with her leadership. Arianna Davis said she was kind of bossing people around and didn’t know how to read the room. Some people felt left behind by how fast she was teaching.
Morrison later went into “damage control” by talking to the rest of the women. She acknowledged that her personality is clashing with everyone else, and multiple women pointed out that no one has the dance down. Morrison reminded people to ask themselves why they feel “intimidated.”
Everything came to a head in episode 5, “Mirror Mirror on the Wall.” Lizzo said, “You came out here and said that you were having issues with girls. You know at the end of the day, these things happen. But what makes it more concerning for me is that you’ve had issues with several girls in the house.”
“It’s really important to me that there’s a camaraderie and a sisterhood of authenticity that happens,” The singer continued. “It’s not just about dance around here. It is about your heart. And it is about your ability to relate to each other, and a huge house rule is no toxicity.” She then told her that she had to go home.
Jasmine Morrison reacts to Lizzo sending her home
Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls fans got Jasmine Morrison’s reaction to her performance. On March 29, the dancer shared a video on Instagram addressing the episode. In it, she’s dancing, and Lizzo talks about her being a strong personality. “Jasmine, she’s a mommy, so you know she runs her household, and she definitely showed these girls who’s boss,” Lizzo says.
The video then cuts to Morrison wearing a shirt that says “I’m not for everyone,” on the back. She then dances to “Truth Hurts” by Lizzo with the choreography from the show. Morrison wrote in the caption, “Thank you @lizzobeeating Everything happens for a reason and trust me when I say I learned A LOT. Prepare to see new me. ‘Bye, b****’.” Fans of the reality show shared their support for her in the comments.
