Many new faces have joined Power Book II: Ghost, the second chapter in the Power Universe. Created by Courtney Kemp, the TV show begins after Ghost’s death in Power, focusing on Tariq St. Patrick as he tries to adjust to life without his father. Soon, he’s selling drugs like him and partnering up with people like the Tejadas, who sell him the drugs he distributes around campus.

Characters like Cane Tejada, Brayden Weston, and BruShandria Carmichael have all become fan favorites, but some are so hated that viewers have voted to kill them off. Here’s who fans want to go in Power Book II: Ghost Season 3.

This poll asked fans who should die in ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ Season 3

A poll was shared on Reddit asking which character should die next season. Various names were shared, but the majority of people picked Cooper Saxe (Shane Johnson), the attorney working with Davis MacLean (Method Man). Saxe was a main antagonist in the original series and in Ghost, but he circumvents death every time. Some don’t think he’ll survive much longer, but at the same time, you never really know with him.

“Saxe is such a slimy piece of sh**. He’ll outlive them all,” one fan wrote in the comment section.

Where did ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ leave Cooper Saxe?

Saxe started working with Davis in the latest season of Power Book II: Ghost after losing his government job. Davis acted as if he needed Saxe to help him take down Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.), but really, he wanted Saxe’s help in getting his brother, Theo (Redman), out of prison. Theo is sick and hoping to get out of prison to live the time he has left fully. He has been in prison for years for a crime that his brother seemed to commit.

At the end of the season, Saxe decided to take matters into his own hands and team up with Jenny Sullivan (Paton Ashbrook) to nail Tariq. He lost everything in pursuit of James St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) and hopes to redeem his reputation by getting dirt on his son.

What to expect from him next season

Kemp confirmed on Twitter that Saxe is one of the villains next season. The other is Blanca Rodriguez, who will be investigating Tariq for Mecca’s murder after spotting Tariq on video surveillance at Mecca’s penthouse.

“She is definitely going to try to get Tariq,” Kemp told Entertainment Weekly of the character. ” … The audience is going to have very strong opinions about what Blanca decides to do in season 3 and how she plans to attack Tariq.”

While Starz has yet to share a release date for Power Book II: Ghost Season 3, the show has been filming for weeks. This suggests that it could return as soon as later in 2022, but of course, there’s no way to tell for sure. Stay tuned to Showbiz Cheat Sheet for updates as they become available.
