Kim Kardashian handles the alleged sex tape footage in ‘Did Somebody Tape That?’

In The Kardasians premiere, Kim learns of supposed “unseen footage” from her sex tape with Ray J. “This is the s*** I did when I was young and I need to own it,” Kim tells cameras. “I’ll do everything in my power to protect myself — to protect my kids.”

While packing for her trip to New York City to host Saturday Night Live, Kim talks on the phone with her legal team about the alleged footage. She tells them she has “all the money, all the time, and all the resources” to “sue the f*** out of these people.”

Kourtney and Travis look at a Malibu home and consider having a kid

Kourtney and Travis live in the same Calabasas neighborhood a block from each other. In “Did Somebody Tape That?” the couple looks at “one of the most important estates in Bel Air” with their realtor Tomer Fridman.

During their tour of the property, “Kravis” makes a pitstop in the backyard for some PDA. While sitting on Travis’ lap, Kourtney brings up the Disneyland video of the couple that had people “pissed.”

In October 2021, Barker shared a photo of the couple kissing in front of the skull rock from Peter Pan. “I want your skull,” the drummer captioned the post. As he reveals in the episode, their tour guide took the video — something that previously perplexed many fans.

“Kissing and hugging is not a bad thing,” Kourtney says in the episode. She’s glad her kids get to see how affectionate she is with Barker because it’s something they haven’t seen in her previous relationship with Scott Disick.

Later, Kourtney talks about wanting to have a baby with Travis. “I think we want it so badly because we want to make something together,” she tells her mom.

Amy Schumer helps Kim Kardashian with her ‘SNL’ monologue in ‘Did Somebody Tape That?’

In addition to dealing with the sex tape, Kim prepares to host Saturday Night Live in the second episode. “I don’t think people really get how insane SNL is,” she says, detailing her schedule.

“You come in on a Monday and you have these meetings where they pitch things to you,” she explains. “Tuesday is sketch pitches. Wednesday’s the table read where you read like 40 sketches. Thursday [is] filming of pre-tapes [and] Friday we start at 5 a.m. Saturday is showtime. It’s a machine.”

Kanye West was in New York when she hosted SNL. He wasn’t at the show, but he did consult Dave Chappelle ahead of Kim’s appearance to go over monologue jokes.

Amy Schumer also helps with Kim’s monologue. Schumer advises Kim not to do any jokes about the sex tape to preserve the “piece of art” her monologue would become. Ultimately, a sex tape joke was left in the final product.

Khloé Kardashian gets a pep talk from James Corden

Khloé is no stranger to the spotlight. But the aftermath of appearing on talkshows gives the reality star anxiety.

While preparing to appear on The Late Late Show with James Corden, the late-night host pops into Khloé’s dressing room for a pep talk. “Why are you even looking at [Twitter]?” he asks Khloé.

“All you have to remember is none of these things are about you. It’s only a representation and a reflection of [the people posting negativity]. How can anyone judge anyone when they don’t know them?”

The speech left Khloé feeling “warm and fuzzy.” As documented in the episode, her appearance went smoothly.

Travis Barker’s plans to propose are revealed

On a FaceTime call with Kris and Khloé, Barker reveals his plans to propose to Kourtney in “Did Somebody Tape That?” He proposed on Oct. 17, 2021.

“The 17th is the first day we ever hung out,” Travis explains. Kris and Khloé are delighted with the plans.
