‘1000-lb Sisters’: Tammy and Andrea Deny DV Allegations
Tammy Slaton and Andrea Dalton are addressing concerns about their relationship.
On Monday, the 1000-lb Sisters stars took to TikTok to share a video addressing concerns that Tammy was abusing her wife-to-be.

“I know I don’t have to do this, but I’m going to. I going to address the issues of me apparently beating Andrea,” Tammy said.
Andrea backed up Tammy’s denial.
“She’s not beating me,” Andrea said. She also said that she was not abusing Tammy.
“I would never hit Tammy. I would never hit anybody,” she said. “Like, I’m just not that type of person. And I hope you guys understand that. … neither one of us are gonna beat the hell out of each other.”

In the current season of 1000-lb Sisters, some viewers have been alarmed by Tammy’s controlling and possessive behavior toward her girlfriend. In a clip from the September 29 episode, the pair visit a counselor ahead of their wedding. Andrea confesses that Tammy keeps a close eye on her whereabouts.
“She don’t want me out of her sight,” Andrea says to a producer. “Like when I stand up or something, she’ll be like ‘Where are you going? … [My apartment] is small. I don’t live in no damn mansion.”
In the TikTok, Tammy admitted that she was not in a good place when filming season 9.
“It blows my mind that y’all think I am a beater like that. But anyways, mental health is no joke. And at the time, I was going through a bunch of mental health issues,” she said. “I still am and trying to get better.”
“I’m not beating her,” she added. “She is fine.”
1000-lb Sisters Season 9 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on TLC. Episodes also stream on HBO Max.
