It was, by far, one of the most high-profile private events the city has seen recently. Since the big night, the famed couple has left the city and headed clear across the country. Here is everything we know about their movements since their wedding day.
The Days After: A Total Blackout
For the first several days following the ceremony, Swift and Kelce essentially vanished from public view. No verified photos, no direct sightings, no statements from the couple. While they kept a low profile, their private jet was logged at an airport in New London, Connecticut, following their blowout party.
An onlooker revealed that the lights were on in Swift’s Watch Hill, Rhode Island abode on the evening of July 4, and people could be seen on a patio as fireworks flew overhead. While Swift didn’t announce she’d be in Rhode Island, their arrival in New London would make it plausible. The Groton–New London Airport is only about 30 minutes by car from Swift’s Watch Hill estate. Considering the couple was rumored to be eyeing the state for their wedding ceremony before it got too big, spending their first nights as husband and wife in the seaside abode makes sense.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift landed in Montana
According to multiple reports, the couple flew to the Yellowstone Club, an ultra-exclusive members-only resort in Big Sky, Montana, where they have vacationed privately in the past.
According to the Daily Mail, the duo was so focused on privacy that they flew independently and even used decoy jets. They were later joined by Jason and Kylie Kelce for what was a family gathering to relax and recharge. The alleged mini-moon is a precursor to what is to come.
Taylor and Travis were most recently just spotted in California
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made their first confirmed public appearance as a married couple when their private jet touched down at Bob Hope International Airport in Burbank, California. Photographers captured the pair being shielded by black umbrellas as they left the plane and climbed into a waiting SUV with blacked-out windows. They are believed to have headed to Swift’s Beverly Hills home.
The pair are allegedly in California to celebrate JuJu Smith-Schuster and his bride-to-be. The NFL wide receiver is set to marry his longtime love on July 11. Smith-Schuster and his fitness coach fiancée, Laura Kruk, have chosen the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel as the site of their vows.
From there, Taylor and Travis are expected to leave California and head out on a much longer European honeymoon. While there is no official word on where they will spend their time, Greece has been tossed around as a potential destination. Wherever they are headed, it can’t be for too terribly long. Kelce will need to be back in Missouri by July 29 to begin training camp.
