Amanda Conner Claims She’s Divorcing Ryan Edwards in 911 Call
Ryan Edwards’ love life has been complicated since the day Teen Mom fans met him on Maci Bookout’s 16 and Pregnant episode. He hasn’t outgrown those complications, it seems. Ryan is currently married for the second time, but from the sounds of it, that marriage is likely to end sooner rather than later. At the very least, Ryan’s wife, Amanda Conner, recently claimed she’s in the midst of a divorce. Here is what we know so far.
Amanda Conner told police she’s in the process of divorcing Ryan Edwards
Amanda Conner and Ryan Edwards were spotted together immediately after her late May arrest, but apparently, they did not, in fact, kiss and make up. Just a day after the incident that brought them back into the spotlight (more on that later), Amanda called 911 to ask for an escort to the home she shared with Ryan to retrieve more of her things.
In a recording obtained by The Ashley Reality Roundup Group, Amanda told the dispatcher that she was in the middle of a divorce and was uncomfortable going to the home she shared with her estranged spouse to retrieve her things. She went on to acuse Ryan of being abusive in the past. Amanda went on to say that she had photographic evidence of injuries she sustained at his hands. She also said she was afraid he’d damage her belongings before she could retrieve them.
While Amanda claims she and Ryan are in the middle of a divorce, no public filing has been located.
The drama kicked up with Amanda Conner’s arrest
Amanda Conner and Ryan Edwards had reportedly hit a rough patch weeks or months before Memorial Day, but things got serious in late May following Amanda’s arrest. On May 24, around 4 a.m., Ryan Edwards called 911 to report that his wife had driven off with their infant in the car. He told dispatchers that he was fearful she was under the influence of narcotics.
Police caught up with Amanda in Chattanooga, on a notoriously winding mountain road. According to court records, she was driving on the wrong side of the road when officers spotted her. She was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and child abuse. Her bond was set at $16,000 and was paid.
The relationship timeline
Amanda Conner and Ryan Edwards have one of reality TV’s more complicated love stories. The two met in the summer of 2023 while both were in court-ordered rehab and went public with their relationship later that year. Amanda rose to fame mocking Mackenzie Standifer, Ryan’s first wife, on TikTok, before she began appearing on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. Ryan was still legally married to Mackenzie until August 2025, though they separated in February 2023 after Mackenzie accused Ryan of domestic violence.
Ryan and Amanda welcomed their first child together in February 2025. In August, Ryan finalized his long and contentious divorce from Standifer. Just two weeks later, he and Amanda exchanged vows. While they appeared outwardly happy together, there were rumors that all was not well in the weeks leading up to Amanda’s arrest. Rumors of public fights and questions about the couple’s sobriety swirled.
While it’s unclear exactly what the future holds for the pair, things are clearly not going well right now.
