In late April, a recording surfaced online of Summer House cast member Ciara Miller berating her former friend Amanda Batula for her affair with Ciara’s ex, West Wilson. Both Bravo and Andy Cohen condemned the leak, then set about uncovering who was behind the audio recording. Soon, Cohen revealed that an unnamed Bravo superfan helped them identify the leaker.

It was “a Bravo fan — who you’re gonna hear more about — who cracked the case … [and] delivered crucial information,” Cohen said on his SiriusXM Radio Andy radio show.

Speculation quickly started to swirl about who the fan detective might be, with some people settling on Lawrence as a likely candidate. It turns out, that was correct.

“There’s been a lot of speculation about who that superfan was, including the wild theory that it was actress Jennifer Lawrence,” Cohen said during the June 9 episode of Watch What Happens Live, which aired immediately after the conclusion of the Summer House Season 10 reunion.

“I wanted to personally thank that superfan,” Cohen continued. “Folks, that superfan was indeed Jennifer Lawrence. Her online sleuthing helped our team solve this mystery.”

How exactly did Lawrence figure out the leaker’s identity? Cohen said more details are coming.

“She’ll be here eventually and she will talk about it,” he said.

‘The Hunger Games’ star is a Bravo fan

So far, Lawrence hasn’t commented on her essential role in this season’s Summer House drama. But she’s an avid Bravo watcher, frequently weighing in on shows like The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and The Real Housewives of Orange County.

“I mean the Real Housewives of Lake Salt City,” Lawrence said on the 2024 Golden Globes red carpet (via People). “I just want to give a shout out to the best finale I have ever seen on reality TV.”

Lawrence felt that the SLC ladies deserved some big-time recognition for their work in the dramatic season-ending episode, which saw Heather Gay exposing Monica Garcia’s alter ego as “Reality Von Tease.”

“I’ll give them mine, I don’t care,” Lawrence said, referring to her Oscar statuette. “They deserve it.”

The Summer House Season 10 reunion is now streaming on Peacock. A surprise bonus episode, Summer House: The Aftermath, will highlight the fallout from the dramatic reunion. It airs June 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock.
