Andy Cohen Says Bravolebs Not Watching Their Shows Is ‘Not My Preference’
Andy Cohen opened up about Bravo stars who show up to their reunions without having watched their respective seasons. A number of celebrities, with the most recent being The Valley’s Luke Broderick, have publicly admitted to not watching their seasons of the shows. While Cohen said he would prefer the network’s stars to watch their shows, he admitted he understands why people don’t.
Andy Cohen spoke about Bravo stars who haven’t watched their shows
During The Valley’s season three reunion, Broderick, who has faced significant criticism this season, said he did not watch the season. He explained that he “lived it,” and didn’t want to relive this period of his life as he watched the show. His castmates expressed irritation with this statement.
Former The Valley star Jax Taylor said he didn’t watch the show, leading to some confusion at the reunion. Cohen told Taylor that for him to understand his line of questioning, he needed to have watched.
Amanda Batula, who was at the center of controversy during this season of Summer House, also said she did not watch.
“I haven’t been watching the show, but I watched past seasons,” she said in the third part of the reunion. “I have not watched this.”
She said that because she was at the center of such negativity, she didn’t want to reflect on what people would say about her as she watched various scenes. Both Kyle Cooke and Ciara Miller admonished her for this.
In the past, Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay said she only watched her scenes of the show. Ariana Madix said she did not watch season 11 of Vanderpump Rules because she didn’t want to relive the aftermath of Tom Sandoval’s infidelity.
Cohen recently opened up about this trend on Threads.
“It’s not my preference but I feel like showing up at the reunion is hard when you’ve had a terrible season,” he wrote. “So I give them credit for showing up to face the music at least.”
