Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick’s relationship woes were on full display on this season of The Valley. The engaged couple bickered in the aftermath of their daughter’s birth, with many viewers wondering if their relationship will survive. What does their astrological compatibility say about the future of their relationship?

Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick are engaged

Broderick proposed to Doute during the second season of The Valley. He popped the question during a cast trip to Maui. Doute said she didn’t see this coming.

“It was a total surprise,” she told Us Weekly.

Doute proposed with a 14K white gold, 4.27-carat emerald-cut diamond. It also features a half carat worth of diamonds on the band.

“I knew from the moment we met that Luke was my person,” Doute said. “I am so excited to continue this journey together, now as fiancés.”

The couple began dating in 2022.

What is Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick’s astrological compatibility?

Doute, who was born on Feb. 17, is an Aquarius. Broderick was born on April 24, making him a Taurus. These signs are notably different. Aquarius is intelligent and progressive, while Taurus seeks stability and comfort. Aquarius throws themselves into their projects, while Taurus prefers to slow down and recharge.

These differences can cause definite challenges for a romantic partnership between the two signs. An Aquarius may grow frustrated with a Taurus’ desire to stay in their comfort zone. Taurus may also feel that Aquarius isn’t willing to commit enough time to their relationship. Unless the signs are willing to put significant effort into compromise, this can spell trouble for them. At this point in their relationship, it seems that Doute and Broderick are struggling to reach a point of compromise.

The couple put their wedding planning on pause

Nearly two years after their engagement, Doute and Broderick still haven’t finalized any wedding plans. The couple admitted they have put the wedding planning process on pause.

“No planning has been done. No planning has happened,” Broderick told Page Six. “There’s been talk, no actual plans yet, of going to Nashville to look at venues. And that’d be like step one, seeing what venues we like, when they’re available, etc. That’s step one. That’s in the talking phase. It’s not on the calendar.”
