Bravo Alum Jenni Pulos Played a Bizarre Role in Controversial O.J Simpson Prank Show
Juiced, an ill-conceived prank show starring accused double murderer O.J. Simpson, featured many strange and uncomfortable moments, from the NFL star touting the “escapability” of a used Ford Bronco to the jabs he makes about the weight of female customers while working at a fast food drive-thru window. (He had a habit of needling his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, about her weight as well, her sister recalls.)
But for avid reality TV watchers, one of the more WTF moments comes when former Bravo star Jenni Pulos pops up in a sketch from Juiced, a moment highlighted in ID’s new documentary O.J. Unseen: Exploitation of Evil. (It premieres September 7.)

These days, Pulos is best-known as Jeff Lewis’ friend and assistant on Flipping Out. But back in the early 2000s, she was a working actress who took a job playing a woman who was supposedly having an affair with O.J. Her then-husband Chris Elwood portrayed her character’s husband, who would confront the pair in a hotel room. In footage from the show, Pulos locks herself in the hotel room bathroom while Elwood angrily exchanges words with O.J. before the later informs the irate husband that he’s “been Juiced.”
As various people involved in producing the show explain in Exploitation of Evil, O.J. was not told that Pulos and Elwood were actors. Instead, he believed that they were unsuspecting victims of one of his pranks. The Juiced creators wanted his authentic reactions onscreen, but did not want to run the risk of the situation spiraling out of control if regular people were involved (as they were in most of the other sketches from the show), especially given the star’s alleged history of violent behavior. The bit seems in particularly poor taste considering that Simpson reportedly cheated on his late ex-wife throughout their marriage but reacted with anger and jealousy when she began seeing other people after their divorce.
‘Juiced’ never aired on TV
While Pulos appears in Juiced footage in the ID doc, neither she nor Elwood are interviewed, so we don’t get their take on the experience. Nor is the show – which never aired on TV but was available as a pay-per-view special in 2006 – mentioned on either’s IMDb page. Many people who are interviewed for Exploitation of Evil express regret for their involvement in the project (one even demanded a fake name be included in the show’s credits). It seems that Pulos and Elwood are among those who aren’t eager to share that they once worked with the infamous football player.
O.J. Unseen: Exploitation of Evil airs Monday, September 7 and Tuesday, September 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ID. Episodes also stream on HBO Max.
