Carl Radke Predicts Amanda and West’s Relationship Won’t Last
Carl Radke is not happy with either Amanda Batula or West Wilson after they revealed their relationship. The couple got together despite Wilson’s romantic history with Batula’s close friend, Ciara Miller. While they got together in secret, they are now public with their relationship. Radke doesn’t think it will last between them, though.
Carl Radke doesn’t think Amanda Batula and West Wilson will stay together
Radke and Batula formed a friendship over the course of their time on Summer House. He said that now, he feels like he needs a bit of a break from her.
“We’ve texted after the reunion,” he said on Watch What Happens Live!. “She wished me luck in London, at the marathon. She wanted to try and catch up at some point … but I’m also just taking some time here.”
Radke said that he hasn’t spoken to Wilson at all since the news dropped.
Andy Cohen then asked him if he thought the relationship between Batula and Radke will “last.” Radke’s answer was simple: “Absolutely not.”
Carl Radke said he thinks Amanda Batula and West Wilson crossed a line during the season
Batula and Wilson announced their relationship while the tenth season of Summer House aired. While they said they didn’t get together until the spring, Radke believes their behavior over the summer was inappropriate.
“Some of those moments watching back, it’s weird because I was there,” he told Variety. “Did I notice some touching and the way West was with her? Yes, I did. And I don’t think it’s OK or cool to touch women that are married on their necks, midriffs, grabbing the back of their heads and their hair — very touchy. Watching that back was very uncomfortable and I don’t approve of that.”
He also said it was hard to watch Miller and Mia Calabrese as they supported her through the end of her marriage to Kyle Cooke.
“Some of the conversations Amanda, Mia and Ciara were having were very hard to watch,” Radke said. “They were pumping her up and guiding her through a tough situation, so it feels really icky and makes you question what was really going on all summer.”
Many fans of the show have questioned the timeline that Batula and Wilson have presented.
He believes they need to change their behavior
While Batula and Wilson apologized for hurting Miller and Cooke, Radke thinks their words ring hollow.
“I think the only apology is changing your behavior,” he said. “That’s the only thing I care about. And only time will tell with the behavior and what they’re up to, but their behavior has spoken very loudly. They go to a Yankees game and are making out in public. Now, they’re posting that they want to be back on social again because they want to live their lives.”
While he thinks that the response to the relationship scandal is huge, he believes the couple brought it on themselves.
“Their behavior has been very telling, I think,” he said. “I don’t wish any ill will on them and think that this has gotten out of control, but at the same time, if you play dumb games you’re going to win stupid prizes.”
