Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez’s Star-Packed Wedding Could Cost More Than Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Nuptials
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding was the most anticipated celebrity wedding of the summer. The event was so grand that it was held at Madison Square Garden in front of 1,000 guests. And those in attendance were some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment.
The couple’s big day was estimated to cost upwards of $30 million. And now, there are reports that another high-profile, super-rich couple are ready to say “I do” and the cost of their nuptials may exceed Swift and Kelce’s.
Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, in August 2025, just weeks before the singer and NFL player announced their engagement. While the pop star’s ring is stunning, it pales in comparison to the massive diamond Ronaldo gave Rodriguez.
Swift’s rock is believed to have a price tag of $1 million, while the I Am Georgina star’s is reportedly worth $4 million. And the no-expense-spared ring could be a clue as to how much the couple is willing to spend on one of the biggest days of their lives.
The two have kept many wedding details under wraps, but according to Portuguese media outlets, CR7 has chosen Portugal’s stunning Funchal Cathedral on the island of Madeira, his hometown, as the location where he and Rodriguez will say their vows.
Bein Sports reported that after the ceremony, the celebration will continue at a luxury hotel on the island, expected to host guests from all over the globe, including Portugal, Spain, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and America.
A guest list was leaked online consisting of names that rival some of the star power of those who attended Kelce and Swift’s big day, such as Rihanna, Drake, Travis Scott, Vin Diesel, Conor McGregor, Kylian Mbappé, Ronaldo’s Al Nassar teammates, and Jennifer Lopez (who also attended the Swift-Kelce affair as well).
So far, Ronaldo and Rodriguez have not confirmed any of the reports about their upcoming wedding.
