Lipa is a pop star, and Turner is an actor. She said that their careers have shaped their plans together.
“I’d love to have kids one day,” she told British Vogue. “But it’s like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time – how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour, and how much time out I’d have to take. I think it’s just one of those things that’s going to happen when it happens. I love kids, but I think there’s so much more to raising a child than just loving children.”
They both have busy schedules, so they have had to institute a two-and-a-half week rule. They refuse to spend more time than two-and-a-half weeks apart from each other. She said that the only time they broke this was during her Antipodean tour. They had to spend three weeks apart, which they both found difficult.
After marrying on May 31, the couple reportedly has plans to have a second ceremony in Sicily next weekend.
