Jenelle Evans Throws Shade in Her Official Comment About David Eason’s New Girlfriend
Jenelle Evans and David Eason never made the perfect romantic couple, but Teen Mom fans know they make a fine drama team. Over the course of their very complicated relationship, they’ve made headlines for their antics, and their latest breakup is no different. After the pair moved to Florida together, David has returned to North Carolina without Jenelle and found himself a new lady to romance. Jenelle isn’t thrilled about that, and she happily threw shade at David’s newest love.
David Eason goes public with Madi B
David didn’t waste any time moving on. Just weeks after he split from his ex-wife yet again, he turned up on Instagram next to a new woman. He claimed they were “just friends” for roughly 14 seconds before making their relationship official. The woman in question goes by Madi B, and while little is known about her, Teen Mom fans probably won’t be able to avoid learning more.
David is already gushing about his new love, claiming they’ve known each other peripherally for years, but the timing for romance just happened to align now. He insists she’s a great partner who wakes up early to make him breakfast and pack his lunch. From the sound of it, the pair sped through the “friends” portion of their courtship, skipped the dating portion, and moved right into a full-blown relationship.
Jenelle Evans reacts to David’s New Relationship
While David and his new lady seem very happy, Jenelle is decidedly not happy for them. She spoke directly with Us Weekly after David went public with the relationship. She told the outlet that she’s happy David has moved on but doesn’t believe she’ll be able to introduce their daughter, Ensley, to David’s latest love.
According to multiple reports, Jenelle said she had been “warned” about Madi and took issue with what she claimed was Madi’s past line of work. She alleged that Madi B had worked as an escort at some point, which she believes makes her a problematic presence for Ensley.
Jenelle didn’t just have unkind words for Madi. She had plenty to say about David, too. She claims her former love has not asked about his daughter since he left Florida. He had previously gone more than a year without seeing Ensley following his split from Jenelle, though that changed in January when the former flames patched things up.
Madi B offered a measured response
Madi was quick to respond to Jenelle’s statement and allegations. She also spoke with Us Weekly and had plenty to say about Jenelle’s comments. Madi B insisted that while she’s open to talking about her past at some point, she’s currently in school and working, which she says she’s proud of. She went on to tell the outlet that she’ll move through life with “grace, determination, and faith.”
Madi’s approach to dealing with Jenelle appears markedly different from the approach David’s last girlfriend took. David dated Kenleigh Heatwole for over a year shortly after he separated from Jenelle. Kenleigh chose to trade barbs online with Jenelle, poking fun at her whenever she had the chance, for most of that relationship. For now, Madi doesn’t seem interested in online games, but that could change at any minute.
More drama on the horizon
The situation between Jenelle and David won’t be simmering down anytime soon. Shortly after David’s posts with Madi, Jenelle revealed on Instagram that she had decided to pursue child support from both David and her other ex, Nathan Griffith. Jenelle has long claimed she hasn’t received financial help for any of her three children.
Her eldest son, Jace Evans, was fathered by Andrew Lewis. Jace, now 17, is currently living with his grandmother in North Carolina after a turbulent year. Kaiser Griffith is the child she shares with Nathan, who was released from jail in July. Ensley is the only child Jenelle shares with David.
