Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s newlywed life has already been affected by the NFL star’s return to football. Kelce’s return to football has reportedly put physical distance between the couple, while Swift has been seen traveling to different places. Reportedly, it happened because she does not want to be locked away in Kansas City while her husband is busy with football. 

While Kelce is expected to spend much of the season in Kansas City, some expected Swift to make their Kansas City mansion her new base. Instead, she reportedly has plans to work while on the move. According to Marca, journalist Rob Shuter claimed that the Love Story singer may not stay in Kansas City for the season.

He revealed that as football season will occupy Kelce for a year, he may not expect his wife to spend that time in their Missouri mansion. “Taylor Swift is not moving to Kansas City for a year. Not going to happen,” Shuter asserted. 

Swift is not on tour as of now and can make any place her base to write and record new songs. The journalist claimed, “She could take her piano, she could take her guitar, and she could write a new album and call it the Kansas City album.” However, he argued that this is not something the pop star wishes to do. 

Shuter previously reported how Swift and Kelce spent wholesome time together after their wedding. Their daily life reportedly involved the singer cooking, cuddling with their pets, and even working out together. It soon ended when Kelce had to join his Kansas City Chiefs teammates for practice by late July. 

Swift flew to different cities and even out of the country while Kelce was away practicing. After spending time in Missouri, the Cruel Summer star traveled to the U.K., New York, and Los Angeles. “He’s locked down for a year, and she doesn’t want to be there,” Shuter noted before adding, “She’s having a great time in London. She’s been in New York. We saw her in L.A. So, she’s hanging with her friends.”

Shuter’s claims came after he revealed that Kelce is unable to keep up with his long-distance marriage. According to StyleCaster, Swift and Kelce spent a lot of time together before tying the knot in July. They reportedly became inseparable by the time the football star had to leave his wife at home to pursue his career. 

A source told Shuter, “Travis hates being away from Taylor.” He was used to “running to football” after doing the same for more than 13 years. However, “being newly married has changed everything.” “Missing her hits differently now,” the insider added. 

Marriage reportedly changed his approach toward football. It is reportedly no longer about money. “Travis has nothing left to prove. He has the rings, the fame, and the woman he loves. Now he’s asking himself what another season is actually worth,” the insider said. 

According to the source, Kelce may put an end to his football career to be with his wife. They claimed that this will “absolutely” be his last season, as he has realized “how much life with Taylor he’s missing.” Reportedly, it is more important for him than football.
