The stakes are higher than ever in the upcoming season of Love & Marriage: Huntsville, premiering September 12 on OWN. (Earlier this year, OWN ordered 30 new episodes of the show.)

In the upcoming season of the Carlos King-produced reality series, viewers will again step inside the lives of Huntsville’s most-talked-about friend group. The just-released teaser hints at all the drama to come, including Marsau and LaTisha Scott’s business struggles, Martell Holt and Destiny Payton’s complicated (and possibly non-platonic relationship), and Maurice Scott’s struggles with his son, who appears to have been kicked out of college.

A poster promoting the new season also hints that a new person could be joining the LAMH cast. The image features a shadowy figure lurking behind the group. If the rumors are true, it’s likely Arionne – Martell’s ex and the mother of one of his children. OWN’s description of the season also mentions the introduction of a new person who throws the cast’s dynamic into chaos.

“Get out of the way, because this is about to get ugly,” Marsau says in clip.

Here’s OWN’s synopsis of the upcoming season of Love & Marriage: Huntsville

“This season, the group faces major life changes that will test their relationships, families and careers. Martell Holt is celebrating professional and personal milestones, including earning his builder’s license, but a surprise introduction to the group threatens to upend existing dynamics and test his close friendship with Destiny Payton. Meanwhile, as Marsau and LaTisha Scott approach their 20-year wedding anniversary, they must navigate the devastating loss of their first residential investment property. Chris and Nell Fletcher face new challenges as Nell becomes a full-time caregiver to her aging father, while empty nesters Maurice and Kimmi Scott adjust to unexpected change and grapple with concerns over Maurice’s son’s future.”

Love & Marriage: Huntsville premieres Saturday, September 12 at 8 p.m. ET on OWN.
