The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Kim De Paola (aka Kim D) is inserting herself into Teresa Giudice’s latest family drama

Kim D hopes Milania Giudice ‘bitch-slapped’ Teresa and Luis Ruelas

In May, Teresa’s 20-year-old daughter Milania Giudice was arrested on simple assault charges. Exactly what triggered the incident isn’t clear. But according to In Touch, RHONJ insiders believe that Teresa’s husband Luis Ruelas might have been the target of Milania’s anger.

Kim D says she hopes that was the case.

“I hope Milania bitch-slapped Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas, because they deserve it. I hope she did. And I hope she gets away with it,” she said in a video shared on Instagram

“If she needs any legal advice, I have the best lawyer,” she continued. “I’m a … very opinionated person, but I was dragged into this.”

Milania will likely not need that referral. According to The Sun, she’s hired high-profile New Jersey attorney Alan Kraminsky of Kraminsky Law to defend her.

Kim and Teresa have had a rocky relationship over the years, with various public feuds, including one spawning from Kim’s rumor-mongering over alleged infidelity in Teresa and then-husband Joe Giudice’s marraige.

‘RHONJ’ alum hints at drama in the Giudice household

In her video, Kim D also denied that she was the person who leaked details of the incident to fellow RHONJ star Margaret Josephs. But she did say that she knew there was tension in the Giudice family over Milania’s future. She recently finished her sophomore year at the University of Tampa, but De Paola says she doesn’t want to return to the Florida campus for her junior year.

“But what I will talk about is this,” she said. “I happen to love Milania … I know there’s been an argument in the home about [returning to the University of Tampa]. [But] she really didn’t want to.”

So far, no one in the Giudice family has weighed in on Milania’s legal drama. The college student has continued to post on social media in the weeks after her arrest. In one update, she reminded people to “be humble.” In others, she praised both her mom, Teresa, and her dad, Joe.

“I hope my mom never carries the weight of thinking she wasn’t enough,” she wrote in one post. “I could fill pages with the quiet, beautiful ways she shaped my life.”

Milania is not the first person in her family to face legal problems. Both Joe and Teresa served time in prison on fraud charges.
