Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs hopes to fix his reputation after his prison sentence

Even though Combs is currently behind bars, he is still aware of what people are saying about him. He has well over 100 accusers and faces over 70 lawsuits. He spent months as a front-page headline. His representative, Juda Engelmayer, said that he has seen much of the negative coverage and doesn’t like it.

“It’s not easy to read stuff about yourself on a regular basis,” Engelmayer told Us Weekly. “They do have television [at Fort Dix]. It hurts, but he’s being very strong.”

He reportedly hopes to improve his public reputation in order to avoid further negative coverage.

“The black cloud over [Combs’] future is the way he’s viewed and being seen by the public, and the way some people are taking shots at him, which he wants to correct,” Engelmayer said.

His plan for doing that at this point isn’t clear, as even his former friends have completely distanced themselves from him. Still, Engelmayer said that he sees a potential path forward.

“I’m not saying for sure he will but he’s got a lot of years left in him,” he said. “You can’t count him out.”
