‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice Asks for ‘Compassion’ for Daughter Milania After Fentanyl Revelation
Teresa Giudice is asking for people to be kind as her daughter, Milania Giudice, faces a serious personal crisis.
Last week, Milania shared a brief video on social media showing a heated conversation between herself, her mother, and her older sister Gia Giudice at the Tampa International Airport. According to reports, Milania had run off from her mom and sister and airport police had to be called to locate her. The college student had reportedly just been released from the hospital and was heading home to New Jersey with her family.

Then, on Monday, police bodycam footage surfaced that shed more light on incident. In video shared by Page Six, an officer explains to one of his colleagues that Milania just got out of “just got out of a Baker Act facility.” (In Florida, the Baker Act allows a person to be detained in a mental health facility for up to 72 hours.) Teresa and other were attempting to transport Milania to a rehab facility, he added.
The video also includes footage of the group in an elevator. As Milania threatens to post a video on social meida, an exhausted-sounded Teresa tells her daughter, “I don’t care anymore. I’m trying to save your life.” She then tells the officers that the University of Tampa student “had fentanyl in her system.”
“Cause I was laced,” Milania replies, indicating that she did not intend to take that specific drug.
‘RHONJ’ says her daughter is ‘extremely vulnerable’
In a lengthy post on her Instagram Story, Teresa acknowledged that people would be interested in Milania’s situation because the family was in the public eye. But she asked for people to treat her daughter with compassion.
“The past few months have been incredibly difficult for our family, and I feel it is important to say something while also protecting my daughter during an extremely vulnerable time in her life,” The Real Housewives of New Jersey star wrote.
“Milania has experienced tremendous heartbreak and significant psychological trauma after losing two of her best friends. Grief affects everyone differently, and watching your child try to process that kind of loss is something no parent can ever truly prepare for,” she added. (Milania’s childhood best friend Victoria Zardoya died in an accident in July.) “Right now, my only focus is my daughter.”
“[Milania] is a young woman going through an incredibly difficult and deeply personal time, and she deserves the opportunity to heal without every moment of her pain being analyzed publicly,” the Bravo personality wrote. “I am asking, from one mother to another, and from one family to all of you, to please show Milania compassion and kindness and allow her the privacy she needs right now.”
