Serena Williams is no stranger to serving up fashion wins, and she did just that during New York Fashion Week when she attended Net-a-Porter’s Incredible Women cocktail party.

Other stars including Cindy Crawford, Emmy Rossum, and Katie Holmes were also in attendance. But it was Williams who grabbed the most attention when she posed for photos in a dazzling purple mini dress and black heels.

The tennis legend shared photos of her look on Instagram and fans couldn’t stop gushing.

“Pretty in purple,” one person wrote, while another added that Williams “just keep getting hotter.”

A third person commented, “Stunningly beautiful and philanthropic, greatness!”

And a fourth said, “You fit all of those categories and you are absolutely amazing and such an inspiration!!!”

Regarding the event, Net-a-Porter’s chief executive officer Heather Kaminetsky said, “Incredible Women is about celebrating the women who inspire us through their confidence and individuality. New York Fashion Week felt like the perfect moment to bring our community together around that idea.”

The 23-time Grand Slam champ shared another look on her Instagram the next day in which she rocked a sleeveless black cropped shirt with a puffy white skirt by Moncler.

Fans praised that outfit as well writing, “Absolutely gorgeous,” “Looking sooo beautiful,” “Awesome look,” and “As always Top Serena on the Tennis Pitch Top as well in fashion.”

Williams’ 2026 return to the sport she initially retired from in 2022 has also made headlines recently.

When speaking about her comeback, she told People, “I really don’t have an agenda right now. I’m taking it one match at a time and seeing where my body can take me. It’s been exciting to see what I’m capable of and to feel myself getting stronger. Right now, I’m just enjoying being back out there and seeing where it goes.

“I’m balancing a lot right now — training, competing, my businesses, and most importantly, being a mom. I think I appreciate it differently now. I’m having more fun and really enjoying the whole process — not just competing, but being back on tour with my team and having my family there with me. I’m at a different place in my life now, and I think that’s allowed me to enjoy it in a completely new way.”

During the Forbes Power Women’s Summit on Sept. 10, which was also attended by Crawford as well as Jennifer Garner and Alysa Liu, Williams discussed her future again, sharing that it’s “nothing long-term, it’s more or less having a lot of fun” and showing her daughters “the person that’s in their schoolbooks.”
