Now, though, sources claim Kylie is eager to walk down the aisle, and sibling rivalry may be part of the reason. According to a report from Page Six, Kendall Jenner’s fast-moving romance has Kylie feeling the pressure.
Kendall’s speedy romance is causing tension with Kylie
Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi appear to be very happy together. About a month after the couple went public, some insiders already see an engagement on the horizon. According to Page Six, Elordi is “completely all in” on his girlfriend and believes Kendall is “the one.”
Kendall, the most private of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, appears smitten, too. She reportedly sees Elordi as “husband material” after past relationships that never led to an engagement.
The pair’s commitment has reportedly gotten under Kylie’s skin. She’s spent three years with Chalamet and is said to be worried that Kendall could end up with a ring on her finger first. The insider who spoke with Page Six claims that rivalry has put added pressure on Chalamet to step up.
Timothée is feeling the pressure
Kylie’s sudden hurry is said to be creating some drama in her own relationship. While Kylie is ready to take the next step, Chalamet reportedly isn’t there yet. “Timothée loves Kylie and is very much invested in their relationship, but he’s simply not there yet,” the source said. So far, Kylie isn’t issuing an ultimatum, the insider added.
Rumors of rivalry between the sisters are nothing new. Speculation spread online when Kylie made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut wearing the brand’s Fantasy Bra without Kendall cheering her on. Kendall later quieted the chatter by sharing a clip of Kylie’s walk on her Instagram Story, calling her “my perfect baby sister.” Still, fans have watched the Kardashian-Jenner sisters compete with one another for years, so a race to the altar feels completely on-brand.
