After a public romance and new parenthood, Cardi B and Stefon Diggs called it quits earlier this year. Cardi first sparked breakup rumors when she appeared visibly put out by a question about Diggs at the Super Bowl. She later confirmed that they were at odds during a concert. Recently, however, they sparked reunion rumors when they were all smiles backstage on her Little Miss Drama tour.

After publicly defending Diggs against her fans on multiple occasions, Cardi B split from the NFL player.

“Things were getting too heated and complicated. Cardi is very no-nonsense,” a source told People. “The second she felt that she couldn’t trust him, she pulled back to focus on her kids, her music and tour.”

They added that the relationship didn’t feel stable for her or her children.

“She needs stability and wants the same for her kids,” the source added.

While she hasn’t discussed the breakup at length, Cardi addressed her relationship with Diggs during a stop on her tour.

“Just because I ain’t f***ing with my baby daddy doesn’t mean you get to talk about my baby daddy…This one’s for you, b****,” she said in response to shade from rapper BIA.

Despite all this, the source noted that things may not be permanently over between Cardi and Diggs.

“They co-parent and the door is not completely closed,” they said. “They might reconnect in the future.”

Months after they reportedly split, Cardi and Diggs reunited backstage on her tour. In the image, assistants tend to Cardi’s hair and costume, while Diggs holds their young son. Cardi is smiling broadly.

The image almost immediately sparked rumors of a reconciliation between the two. Even if they are only together as co-parents, it’s clear that they’re on better terms than they were earlier this year.

How many times did she reunite with Offset?

Cardi and Diggs got together after her tumultuous relationship with Offset reached its final conclusion. The couple got together after collaborating on the song “Lick” in 2017. They secretly married later that year, and welcomed their first daughter in 2018.

By the end of 2018, however, the couple split. They spent just a month apart before reuniting in early 2019.

In 2020, Cardi filed for divorce from Offset, but they were spotted kissing shortly afterwards. They reunited again and welcomed a son. 

In late 2023, Cardi confirmed that she had broken up with Offset again. Weeks after this, though, they spent New Year’s Eve together. After seemingly finding more solid footing in the relationship throughout 2024, Cardi filed for divorce again. She announced she was pregnant with their third child shortly after this. 

Cardi repeatedly accused Offset of cheating on her throughout their relationship. He also accused her of infidelity. At this point, they have not yet finalized their divorce.
