After finding herself at the center of a scandal for revealing her relationship with West Wilson, Amanda Batula will not return to Summer House. The reality star has appeared on the show since its first season. While many fans have celebrated her exit from the show, others wish that they could have seen her face consequences.

Amanda Batula will not appear on the upcoming season of ‘Summer House’

Summer House will begin filming its 11th season over the July 4 weekend. TMZ reports that Batula will not return as a full-time cast member. At this point, it’s not clear if she voluntarily exited or if the show fired her.

Batula found herself at the center of controversy due to her relationship with Wilson. He was formerly involved with cast member Ciara Miller, one of Batula’s close friends. The show’s fans and cast both rallied around Miller and sharply criticized Batula and Wilson.

Wilson will not return to the show for its next season either.

Fans reacted to Amanda Batula’s exit from ‘Summer House’

Batula faced a great deal of criticism due to her relationship with Wilson. As a result, many fans say that they are not sorry to see her go.

“I’m done with Amanda so this is good news for me,” wrote one Reddit user.

Many people saw this as Batula’s way of avoiding accountability in the upcoming season. She spent much of the show’s reunion on the defense.

“Of course she is. She would never be able to handle taking any accountability or the hard conversations that would happen,” one person wrote. “I will miss her zero.”

People also wanted to see her off In the City, her new Bravo show.

“Now let’s get her out of the In the City,” one person wrote. “If she’s boring for SH, she’s 100% not interesting for any other ensemble shows.”

Despite this, a number of people said that they wanted to watch Batula navigate the scandal in the new season.

“I can’t stand her, but wanted to see her get annihilated next season,” one person wrote. “She’s never been held accountable in her life. I hate that she’s chickening out. It’s loser behavior.

People noted that it will be strange not to reckon with the new relationship on the eleventh season of Summer House.

“Honestly expected it but like next season is gonna feel like there is a giant elephant in the room,” one person wrote. “So wouldn’t be surprised if next season is abysmal.”
