Three weeks after the Summer House Season 10 reunion, longtime cast members Lindsay Hubbard and Amanda Batula met for a filmed conversation. Batula found herself at the center of controversy after getting romantically involved with West Wilson. Wilson was formerly with her close friend, Ciara Miller. Hubbard revealed that she told Batula that she needed to make some major changes in order for them to reestablish their friendship.

Lindsay Hubbard and Amanda Batula had a conversation on ‘Summer House: The Aftermath’

On May 13, Hubbard and Batula met to discuss her relationship with Wilson for the special Summer House: The Aftermath. Hubbard encouraged her co-star to take responsibility for hurting Miller.

“You and West made a very adult decision, and now you have to deal with the very adult consequences that come with that,” she said. “You can’t just be the ostrich who puts their head in the sand.”

She also informed Batula that she’d heard Wilson was still in contact with his ex-girlfriend.

“West, he’s already out there embarrassing you,” she said. “You know who he was on the phone with this morning? Meija [Moreno].”

She also accused Wilson of cheating on her with Moreno in March. Batula said she was beginning to feel embarrassed and anxious about her involvement with Wilson.

“Yeah. Which I’m now realizing,” she said. “I wake up with the most anxiety about how I’ve f***ed up my entire life every single day. What’s so hard to stomach and process is I just want to be [loved]. I fought so hard for that with Kyle, and I felt it so much from West. I just feel really f***ing stupid.”

Hubbard encouraged Batula to leave the relationship.

“The only way to save yourself in this moment is to separate yourself from the sinking ship that West Wilson is,” she said. “Be the Rose on the Titanic. Let go of the hand.”

Despite this, the couple appears to still be together.

Lindsay Hubbard said she needed to see major changes in Amanda Batula

After Summer House: The Aftermath aired, Hubbard revealed that parts of their conversation didn’t make it into the final edit. One moment was an ultimatum she gave Batula about their friendship.

“Not seen/didn’t make the edit: I told Amanda at the end of that convo, in order to be friends with me, I need my friends to show ‘integrity, character, and better decision-making skills,” she wrote on Threads. “And until that happens… unfortunately, there’s no place for people like that in my life.’”

West Wilson will not be on the 11th season of ‘Summer House’

News recently broke that Wilson will not return for the 11th season of Summer House. Noah Samton, the SVP of current production for Bravo and Peacock unscripted, spoke about the casting guidelines for Summer House.

Summer House is unique in the Bravoverse,” Samton told Variety. “If you have two Housewives who hate each other, and can’t get along, they can shoot a scene, and at the end of the day go home to their own house. On Summer House, they actually live together. So if people have a real issue with each other, you can’t live together in a house. And we wouldn’t do that to the cast.”

Batula’s future with the show is not certain at this point.
