Amanda Batula and West Wilson stunned Summer House fans when they announced their romance earlier this year. Viewers of the show are now watching the current season with new eyes. In a recent episode, Wilson and Ciara Miller wanted to go on a double date. Batula said that while she’d be happy if they rekindled their romance, she thought it was too soon.

Amanda Batula said she had concerns about Ciara Miller and West Wilson

In the May 5 episode of Summer House, cast members Ben Waddell and his girlfriend, Sabrina Belle, wanted to invite Wilson and Miller out on a double date. The pair were once together and managed to get on better terms just before this.

“I was like, ‘The last thing I would ever do is invite Ciara and West out on an intimate date,’” Batula told cast member Mia Calabrese.

Batula said she would love to see Wilson and Miller rekindle things, but she didn’t want to see her friend get hurt again. She wasn’t sure Wilson was ready for a relationship.

“Even if they got back together — happy,” she said. “Literally would make me the happiest person in the whole entire world. The happiest. But he needs to be f***ing ready. It’s him.”

Calabrese agreed, noting that she had doubts that Wilson could commit.

“I’m skeptical and weary of him,” Batula said.

She then promised Calabrese that she would do anything for Miller. If her friend asked her to cut off Wilson, she claimed she would do it without a second thought.

“I would die for that girl,” she said. “The way I would cut West off in one f***ing second if she looked at me. If she gave me one look, [I’d] attack.”

Amanda Batula and West Wilson announced that they are in a relationship

On March 31, after filming for the currently airing season of Summer House wrapped, Batula and Wilson announced that they were romantically involved. They issued a joint statement.

“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” the statement began. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

They explained that their romance grew out of their existing friendship. They concluded by saying they never wanted to hurt anyone, though they didn’t name Miller or Batula’s ex, Kyle Cooke.

“As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless,” they concluded. “We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”

Fans and many members of the cast turned on Batula and Wilson after their statement.

Ciara Miller referred to her former friend as a snake

In leaked audio from the upcoming Summer House reunion, Miller made it clear that she feels Batula betrayed her. She claimed her friend denied there was a relationship when rumors first started spreading.

“Nobody was saying that you needed to stay celibate or what the f*** ever, but there are a million other f***ing guys in New York City,” Miller said in the leaked clip, per People. “But you chose one that — and you know how much that f***ed me up — and you chose the one guy.”

She called Batula a snake.

“You’re a snake in the f***ing grass, and you should honestly just say ‘OK’ because you know you are,” Miller said. “You move silent but you’re f***ing deadly.”
