Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly enjoyed a summer of newlywed bliss after their July wedding. As their schedules have picked back up, though, they have hit a difficult period. A source said that the pair’s busy careers, while important to them, have become a challenge for their marriage.

Now that the football season has begun, Kelce is busier than ever. As a result, the couple doesn’t get to see each other as often.
“What they miss more than anything are the basic things like waking up together, having breakfast, walking the dog,” a source said, per Yahoo! “Travis is already up training by the time Taylor wants to wake up, and their schedules just do not align right now.”
She also has a busy schedule. Her music career takes her away from home often.
“She also can’t just stay home waiting for him, so she has been away a lot, which makes it tougher,” they added. “Travis doesn’t sleep as well without her and Taylor says it’s the same for her.”
Their careers are important to them, so they have accepted the distance. Still, it doesn’t make it any easier.
“Neither of them ever wants the other to feel guilty about pursuing their career,” the source said. “They both know this intense phase won’t last forever, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating when all they really want is to be together.”
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce want to build a life together
Swift and Kelce are already planning to build a life closer together. The couple purchased a house in Ohio, and reportedly plan to move to Montecito, California together.
“They don’t want it to feel like it’s Travis’s house that Taylor moved into,” a source told The Daily Mail. “They want a place that’s theirs from day one. This is their fresh start.”
They’ve been long-distance for the majority of their relationship, which neither wants now that they’re married.
“They’re not building Taylor’s life or Travis’s life anymore,” the source said. “They’re building one life – together. They’ve done the long-distance thing, and it was hard. Now they’re married, Taylor’s going to be where Travis is. That’s home.”
The source added that Montecito, which is home to other celebrities, would be a good fit for them.
“They want to wake up together, have dinner together and build a real home – not just squeeze in visits between schedules,” the source said. “I think Montecito might be a nice place to settle down. They love how private it is and secluded.”
He described the wedding as the best day of his life
While Kelce and Swift are reportedly in a bit of a rough patch, this doesn’t change the fact that they are happy together. Kelce said that their July wedding was the best night of his life.
“Wedding was the best night of my life,” he told reporters. “I appreciate everyone who came out and celebrated and had fun with us.”
He spoke about how much he appreciated being able to bring so many people from their lives together to celebrate.
