The couple’s relationship has never been without critics, and their wedding has generated a fair bit of discourse. While they worked to keep the actual wedding under wraps, the heavy-hitting and incredibly long guest list has been largely figured out. Everyone has thoughts on it too. Fans are particularly vocal about the rumor that two of Taylor’s exes may have scored invites to her wedding to Travis.
Which Exes Scored an Invite to Taylor and Travis’ Wedding?
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in front of roughly 1,000 guests. The sprawling list included musicians, actors, athletes, and entertainment executives spanning both of their careers.
Friends and family of the bride and groom obviously got priority, but in the days since the nuptials, fans have been questioning some of their invitation choices, even if those guests didn’t show up. While Taylor Swift has a very long and very illustrious dating history, she remains on good terms with some of the men she’s dated. Rumor has it two of those men scored invites to her nuptials.
Harry Styles reportedly scored an invitation, partially because of his friendship with Swift and partly because he’s engaged to Swift’s longtime friend, Zoe Kravitz. Styles and Swift made headlines in 2012 and 2013 for their sweet romance. It didn’t last long, and things have settled into an easy friendship.
Taylor Lautner, who Swift dated for just a few months in 2009, is also rumored to have scored an invite. The former flame and his wife, Tay Lautner, are close friends of Taylor Swift, who has joked that the friendship is “convenient” since they all share the same name.
Neither Ex Attended the Wedding
Harry Styles and Taylor Lautner were both extended invitations, according to insiders. Neither made it to the big event, though. It had nothing to do with bad feelings about watching a former flame get married. Both appear to have had scheduling conflicts.
The Taylor Lautners were not in attendance, despite an alleged invite for family reasons. Rumor has it that they are lying low while Tay Lautner is pregnant. While the couple hasn’t shared their due date, estimates suggest she’s around 7 months pregnant now. The Lautners live in the greater Los Angeles area. A trip across the country late in a pregnancy is ill-advised.
Harry Styles was in London for his scheduled tour and was unable to make the event. His fiancée made it, though. Zoe Kravitz was photographed heading to the intimate 100-person rehearsal dinner, and was on hand for the much larger ceremony and reception on July 3.
None of Travis Kelce’s exes made it to the big event either, though Kayla Nicole was clearly in New York City while the party was in full swing at Madison Square Garden. She posted a cryptic Instagram Story of the New York City skyline right after news of the wedding broke, captioned simply “Look at her.”
