A body language expert believes Abbey B could betray her allies

This season of The Traitors features a tight-knit alliance called The Dolls. Body language expert Inbaal Honigman with Casino.ca believes Michael, Ben, and Clyde have formed a close bond.

“All three boys are bonding in a true and genuine manner. Their smiles match — teeth showing, lips curled upwards,” she explained. “Their smiles are so big that their teeth are parted, lips parted, laughing together as a form of release.”

The men’s body language also matches.

“Their gestures match — facing one another fully, openly. All three guys turn their bodies towards each other, arms parted, forgoing any protective gestures. Holding their hands towards each other, the guys are forming a bond, a friendship, a tribe.”

To Honigman, though, Abbey stands out from her alliance. She believes that she is far more focused on the game than building a genuine relationship.

“All but Abbey,” she explained. “She’s playing a game.”

She believes that Abbey is more guarded than the other members of her alliance. This signals that she would be willing to betray her alliance.

“When Abbey B sends kisses to the guys, she covers her face in a protective gesture,” she said. “When she waves at them, she covers her body. Her smile is tight, not as open as those of the boys. Abbey’s loyalties are for sale, and she’s not a true ally to the other dolls.”

The Traitors: New Blood airs on NBC on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET.
