Victoria Lee Robinson Alleges Years of Abuse by Tom Sandoval, Including Stair Shove Incident
A judge recently denied Victoria Lee Robinson’s request for a temporary restraining order against Tom Sandoval. Sandoval already has a temporary restraining order out against her, leading to the denial. In her filing, Robinson alleged that Sandoval has been physically abusive against her throughout their relationship.
Victoria Lee Robinson made allegations of abuse against Tom Sandoval
Shortly after Sandoval filed for a restraining order against Robinson, he shared images of marks that she allegedly made on his body. Not long after this, a video surfaced of a June 3 altercation. In it, Sandoval attempted to take Robinson’s phone from her and pushed her father into a fire pit. Robinson later filed for a restraining order of her own.
In her request, she accused Sandoval of “shoving me down a flight of stairs in his home, pushing me to the ground at a hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, while visiting my terminally ill grandfather” (via People).
“I am fearful of my own wellbeing and the wellbeing of my father, who has also been the victim of [Sandoval’s] verbal and physical abuse, resulting in injuries requiring medical intervention to address,” she claimed.
During the June 3 altercation that resulted in Sandoval shoving her father, she alleged that Sandoval threatened to use a “handgun, two swords, and a knife.” She added that she believes Sandoval could attempt to harm her or her father in the future.
The judge noted that the court cannot consider her request until a proper hearing is held. This will take place on July 16. At that time, a judge will review the competing requests.
Tom Sandoval denied the allegations made by Victoria Lee Robinson
While the matter is currently headed to a hearing, Sandoval’s team took the denial as a victory for him.
“It’s no surprise that Victoria’s request for a restraining order was immediately denied,” a representative said. “The court granted Tom a restraining order and an immediate move-out order against both Victoria and her father after police reviewed all the video evidence from that night, including footage showing Victoria punching Tom in the face.”
They said that Sandoval has never been abusive toward Robinson, instead alleging that she has been violent with him.
“During their 2 1⁄2-year relationship, Tom has made it clear he never physically harmed Victoria,” they continued. “Instead, he lived in fear of her repeated physical attacks and unpredictable behavior. He will show he was the victim of ongoing physical and emotional abuse, and has substantial evidence documenting what he endured, which will be presented through the legal process.”
Her father spoke out about the allegations
Robinson’s father, Will Robinson, has also spoken out about the altercation between himself, his daughter, and Sandoval. He accused Sandoval of acting in a threatening manner.
“The DA did not file the case for a reason,” he told TMZ. “I lifted Tom off of my daughter because he was overpowering and twisting her arm and trying to take her phone aggressively after yelling at us in a very aggressive and threatening manner.”
He also said that he feared for his safety.
“This is my daughter’s home and we just want Tom as far away from us as possible and to keep his lies and drunken abuse away,” he said.
