After starring in a number of independent films, Gosling became widely known for his role as Noah Calhoun in The Notebook opposite Rachel McAdams. Other films he’s known for include: Blue Valentine, Drive, Blade Runner 2049, Crazy, Stupid, Love, and The Ides of March. In 2017, Ryan Gosling won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for La La Land.
