Sean “Diddy” Combs has a new home.

The incarcerated hip-hop star has been moved from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey to FCI Allenwood, a low-security prison in Pennsylvania, according to a new report from NBC News.

“It’s because of the disruptive behavior,”Jose Rojas, union secretary for AFGE Local 506, which represents federal correctional officers, told the outlet. “He’s been causing too much trouble over there.”

FCI Allenwood’s low-security facility is home to about 1,000 male inmates. It is about 180 miles from New York City. Fort Dix is about 75 miles from the city. After his conviction, Diddy had requested to do his time closer to NYC, so that he could more easily see his family.

Diddy’s move comes after reports that he was enjoying a lavish life behind bars. The Bad Boy Records founder was allegedly paying inmates to cook, clean, and give him massages. He also had access to contraband liquor and prescription drugs, as well as a cell phone and jailbroken iPad.

Not long after the report about Diddy’s life behind bars, which also came from NBC, TMZ reported that he’d suffered a head injury following fight with a Jamaican drug lord named Christopher “Dudus” Coke. Coke was allegedly upset that reports of Diddy’s prison perks had led to a crackdown on all inmates at Fort Dix.

Prior to his transfer, Combs was in the prison’s special housing unit, otherwise known as solitary confinement.

In a statement to NBC, a spokesperson for Combs said that they did not have “any information regarding the reasons for the move and don’t want to speculate.”

“Sean remains focused on serving his time, pursuing his appeal, and maintaining contact with his family and legal team,” they said.

Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence on prostitution-related charges. He is scheduled for release on March 2, 2028.
