In 2025, Dua Lipa confirmed her engagement to Callum Turner. The pair recently tied the knot at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall. Lipa said that the engagement ring Turner gave her made her feel that they were set up for success. She said his choice proved that he knows her well.

Turner proposed to Lipa with a chunky gold ring. A 2-carat diamond sits in an 18k yellow gold band. She said that it’s exactly what she wanted, and it proved to her that Turner knows her well.

“I’m obsessed with it. It’s so me,” she told British Vogue. “It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”

After Turner proposed, Lipa said that they didn’t jump into wedding planning right away. They were both busy with their careers, and they wanted to enjoy this period of their lives.

“I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period,” she said. “I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’” 

She said she liked the way engagement felt. For much of her life, she said she “never really understood the weight” of deciding to marry someone. After it happened to her, though, she said she understood the significance of it.

“This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever – it’s a really special feeling,” she said.

Lipa and Turner married at Old Marylebone Town Hall on May 31. She wore a custom Schiaparelli couture bridal ensemble with a wide-brimmed hat and white gloves. A source said the wedding was exactly what they wanted.

“The London ceremony was exactly what they wanted,” they told People. “It was intimate and meaningful, and they were surrounded by loved ones.”

Lipa had a small party with their friends and family after the ceremony.

“They had a small celebration after the ceremony and are so excited for what’s still to come,” the source added.

This weekend, they will have another, bigger ceremony in Sicily.

“They get to enjoy the best of both worlds,” the source said. “A private moment together and a larger celebration with family and friends in Italy.”

The couple reportedly “couldn’t be happier.”
