Then, the night before the Victoria’s Secret show, she attended the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles with her boyfriend, actor Jacob Elordi. It’s unclear what she was up to on Sunday, but a rest day wouldn’t be out of the question.
Kendall’s Victoria’s Secret history
Kendall’s absence stands out because her relationship with Victoria’s Secret goes back more than a decade. She made her debut in 2015, walking in New York alongside Gigi Hadid. She returned in 2016, when she earned her wings, and walked again in 2018, the last show before the event went on a multi-year hiatus.
This is far from the first time she’s sat out a show. In 2017, TMZ reported that her lucrative deal with rival lingerie brand La Perla included a non-compete clause that kept her off the Victoria’s Secret runway.
When the show returned in a revamped format in 2024, Kendall didn’t take part. She skipped last year’s event, too. This year marks her third straight year passing on the show, and it’s possible she’s done with it for good. After all, it’s been eight years since she last wore the wings.
