“It took me a long time to get here,” the Bravo star said. “I definitely wanted it to work. I can sit here and say I gave it my all. I’ve tried everything. It’s one of those things. It’s very sad and hard.”

Whitney filed for divorce in Utah on October 6. She and Justin share two children, Bobbie, 16, and Brooks, 13. While the split was painful, she said she is doing better now that she has made a decision to part ways with Justin.

“Like I am glowing because I’m finding happiness and peace. I have peace in my heart through all the chaos,” she said. “It’s sad. It’s devastating. I love Justin. I love my family.”

The end of Whitney’s marriage will play out on the current season of RHOSLC, she said. But even though the relationship is over, Whitney stressed that the split was amicable.

“He and I are still focused on the kids,” she said. “We’re keeping it peaceful, amicable, and we’re co-parenting well. So, it’s sad, but yeah, I gave it my all. I wanted it to work.”
